I'm from LA. Looking for a good Mediterranean spot and chose here. Its top notch good, much better than some places in California. Great environment and nice staff. Id highly recommend the Meat Combo Plate (pictured)

Too expensive for two little meat you get that doesn’t taste like an authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. No salad, no aoili, littlest baklava I ever had for $4.95???!!! Splitting it into two won’t justify the price! Service is so so. No reason to go back to this place when there are better Mediterranean places to go in Portland.They charged $10 more to our order. Is it a tip that’s added?. They didn’t show us the breakdown of the bill, just the girl came in to get the payment with the machine and watch us how much tip we will give her so so service and not so good food!!!

I met a group of four friends for lunch. We tried many items and everything was quite good. As a bonus, the food was prepared quickly. While not vegan myself, we tried several items that happened to be vegan and they were delicious.
Amazing food! We had the platter that comes with all the favorites and it was the best Mediterranean food we’ve ever had! Highly, highly recommend. And the family working there was super nice to us, even with our toddler doing toddler things.

A really special family run spot in Portland where we enjoyed a relaxed afternoon lunch. The authentic Syrian flavours were exacerbated by the freshness of ingredients as well as the attentive service by several members of the same family who came here from Syria. We would definitely consider going back to explore some more items on the menu. The baklava however, was not fresh and did leave something to be desired but everything else was brilliant.Vegetarian options: V few

I come here for lunch very frequently and I love this place! I try something new every visit, and I’ve never been disappointed. It’s so beautifully decorated inside and the staff out front and in the kitchen are so so kind. Highly recommend!

This was my favorite Mediterranean place in town but at some point in recent months they changed their portion sizes / menu, making it tough to justify the price tag. They got rid of the chicken shwarma plate and just have the sandwich, which for $15, is disappointing. The $20 vegan mezza platter is similar; just 2 falafel and small portions of everything included. What happened to the delicious rice? Gone. Don’t get me wrong, it’s tasty, but it’s unfortunate they made these changes and I will not be dining there nearly as often as I would have before.

Great middle eastern food. We enjoyed tabouleh, stuffed grape leaves, toom and lamb. We were very pleased with food and had baklava for dessert… which disappeared really fast. Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Several vegan options.
Wonderful little eat-out in downtown! The people running the place are very friendly, and were more than happy to assist me with my dietary needs!I came after the lunch rush so the place was relatively empty. However, they made the food very quickly. I also think it's quite an affordable place if you have a smaller appetite like me.I ate here a while ago and my standard for 5 stars is pretty high, so all I can remember about this place are good memories :)I definitely recommend this place!If you found this review helpful, consider liking it!
