If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food that actually delivers, this is your spot. The tacos were absolute perfection — juicy, packed with flavor, and served on fresh, handmade tortillas that made me want to write them a love letter. Every bite had that perfect balance of spice, savoriness, and “oh my gosh, I need another.”
And let’s talk about the salsa bar — a true choose-your-own-adventure moment! From smoky to fiery to sweet and tangy, every salsa had its own personality (and yes, I shamelessly tried them all). Bonus points for the fresh cilantro, onions, and lime wedges stocked like treasure.
Pro tip: Come hungry, bring friends, and don’t wear anything tight. You’re gonna want seconds… maybe thirds.

I was hungry as soon as I landed in PDX. After getting my car rental, I searched for nearby restaurants and this one was one of them. This is my first time ever in Portland or in Oregon. I judge Mexican food wherever I go. This place did not disappoint me at all. This place is authentic Mexican food. I didn’t catch her name, but my server was very friendly and courteous. I got the chilaquiles and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. When I walked in they had a handwritten sign that said they had champurrado. It was DELICIOUS. They had a variety of bottled hot sauces on the table, plus a salsa bar if you wanted more kick added to your food. Definitely stop by if you’re craving delicious, authentic Mexican food.

The place is a dump, dirty, very little investment into the building or its maintenance. Normally, I would ignore those things if the food was good and still give the place a 4 stars. But the food is as avg as it gets, but extremely overpriced. I get the same breakfast burrito at other places for $7 or $8. Here they charge you $11 and claim its because they have waiters? None that I have seen other than the cashier which all other places have as well. Not surprised little people come here. You need to up the competition in some way. If your building and service socks, at least give us value. You will not get either here.

This place used to be good. Now not so good. Shrimp zarandeado was dry like burning grilled taste, fish tostada poorly served and everything it’s over priced. More than better places that I reserve to mention. Will never come back there not worth it
