We needed breakfast items, but also something for that nights dinner. There is a lot to choose from typical for a Whole Foods.

We can't stand to go back to Safeway. Whole Foods so much nicer and better meat. Staff seems to turn over a lot. Managers need to smile and engage more with customers. Prices are higher but you feel you are getting quality. Heavy on the "healthy" items.

We popped in to purchase wine, ciders and cheese to bring back to our hotel. Great selection! I wish we would have found this earlier in our trip, as the ready prepared foods looked good,

This store has a very good selection of upper end products. It is clean with friendly employees. Be prepared to have a hefty bill when you check out.

Instead of going to a restaurant after checking out the sites in the downtown area, we went Whole Foods for some clam chowder and other goodies. What is cool about this place, you can walk around the store while drinking your favorite beer.

Great store, horrible service. Went to buy curried chicken salad at 0927am on Sunday morning. Two male employees working behind counter looked at me and walked away. As long as you are buying shelf items, your good. To bad the employees don’t match the quality of food, which is great!

After a walk to the Saturday market under the bridge we made our way up to Whole Foods Market to pick up some snacks and wine for our return trip home. Very open, clean, friendly staff. Just a 10 min walk back to our hotel in the downtown. Great location to explore the Pearl district and lunch at a brewery!

This one is very organized, but it was incredibly crowded. Some of the "aisles" were in the middle of actual aisles and were just stands of stacked product.

We stopped into this market to pick up some snacks for our flight home. We found some delicious cookies, but there were fewer selections than at the one we have at home in a much smaller store. We also took a look around and saw an impressive variety of ice cream and non-dairy alternative frozen treats. We were glad to have a chance to stop here, since we knew they would have items that my husband, who has dietary restrictions, could eat. I was a bit started to see a security guard with a very visible presence near the entrance to the store.

This Whole Foods has limited options for eating in. The sandwich I got was fair with the bread being limp. I was going to make my own sandwich after eating that one and found bread options limited. In addition, they didn't have individual instant coffee packets. I had to go to Starbucks. The service was good though and it helped make up for the lack of selections.

Over the past two years my husband and I have made several trips to the pearl district of Portland. We stay anywhere from two days to two weeks. This is the first time we’ve come just for pleasure and we have definitely enjoyed the trip. But with each trip there comes a moment when you have just had enough eating out and you want good food that is wholesome. And that’s when we go to the Whole Foods Market. If I lived here it would be my go to market. The fresh fruits and veggies are always exactly that fresh. But what we enjoy the most is their deli. The salad bar is huge and no matter what time of day we come everything is fresh. Theirs sandwiches are large and so yummy. They also have a hot bar that always includes veggies and several different entrées and that’s not counting three different types of hot soup (there are even more on their shelves. Our biggest problem is trying to decide what to get. And don’t even get me started on the fresh bread and there large selection of cheeses. Tonight they were featuring goat cheese. Although their desserts are tempting, we are always too full.
