Were passing by Portland and craved Ramen. Tried the Vegan Miso Spicy/Red and it was good. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Staff is friendly. Had a good experience.
We got the paitan shio. It was good but lacking just a little bit of flavor. Next time we'll try a different dish as the place offers other options that look tasty as well.

Tonkatsu Shoyu Red hits every time and the chasu is so tender. My mouth is watering as I am writing this review. Do yourself a favor and treat yo self to some of the delicious ramen. Undefeated every single time. I wish I could drink this broth as pre-workout

Definitely one of my favorite go-to ramen places in Portland
Edit: Not as good as it used to be now.
The miso vegan ramen is SO good and the broth is very full of flavor. As someone with a shellfish allergy who can’t eat at many ramen places, I appreciate that they accommodate allergies here. It’s so delicious!!! 🍜
Over hyped for sure tried it twice

Delicious! This is my go-to ramen spot in Portland. Always get the side of curry - def worth it.

This place is aaaamazingggg. Also! If you order takeout or delivery, they keep everything in separate containers so it doesn’t get soggy.

I enjoyed the vegan shio tonyu ramen which had a nice soy based milky broth. Ordered the edamame as an appetizer as well which was a great serving size! Make sure to hit up doc Marie’s next door for a digestif.

Shoyu ramen here is the same as taste of Japanese ramen original taste which started like a century ago. Simple shoyu with pork or chicken stock is how the ramen (called then Chuka-soba, means Chinese style noodles) started in Japan. Now they have all sorts of creations, but if you want to know the ground zero of Japanese ramen, taste this place’s shoyu ramen. It’s very nostalgic!!

This is my favorite bowl of ramen in the PNW. Hands down. I always order the classic tonkotsu with a side of chili oil instead of getting the red bowl of tonkotsu. I think the flavor is way better this way and holds its creamy richness while maintaining a lovely spice level as well. Always get the gyoza! I love those burnt edges soaking up the last of my broth.

Wonderful ramen restaurant. The Tonkotsu broth was delicious. And the noodles were nice and springy. Nice comfortable space.

There was a needle sitting right in the outdoor dining area. The restaurant is delicious, but holy crap, Portland is in trouble.
