The staff was friendly, and this was delicious ramen! We were a large group that came during rush hour, but they were very accommodating and quick to serve us! I got the red tonkotsu ramen and it was perfection. Plenty of pork belly and spice! I cleaned my bowl :)

Chasu pork is now hot, instead of how it used to be cold. Quality of the broth is the same delicious no matter how busy the business hour is.
Update in 2024. It's been 3 years since last time I ate here. Their name has changed as well as price but the quality and recipe still the same.
I still highly recommend you guys try out the real strict Japanese culture food here.

This is hands-down the best bowl of Ramen in Portland, so if food was the only factor I'd give them 5 stars. They have trouble keeping up with demand, the line to order takes too long and the food takes too long to come out after ordering. Getting ramen in Tokyo is so fast comparatively, so I'm surprised being owned by a Japanese company that the food and ordering is so slow! I'd say it's worth the wait, and it really is worth the wait, the wait just seems...
