This is one of my partner and I's favorite spot for Sushi in the city. We consistently book here for special events and anniversaries! The food is always amazing, the service is delightful, drinks are perfect, and its never a bad time!
Best sushi in Portland by far. My favorite Sushi place in Portland, OR by a long shot. It's not cheapest but fair given quality and presentation. It's an experience that combines atmosphere and fine dining. Desserts are amazing also.
Beautiful presentation, very mediocre flavors: lack of balance in nearly every dish, many are heavy handed in acid or salt and missed the delicate interplay that exemplifies Japanese cuisine. Examples: mushroom salad was pure vinegar, scotch eggs tasted of straight ginger (and completely overwhelmed the seafood layer). Rice that came with the curry was dry. Portion sizes extremely modest for the price, but would be acceptable if the bites were better executed. Service was excellent....
