Absolutely loved the drink options (got a seasonal rose London fog) and the vegan loaf and banana bread (not vegan) were delicious. Staff are always friendly, the music is calm and the atmosphere is so cozy.
Matta Café Bar has become one of my favorite spots in NW. The atmosphere is warm and thoughtfully designed — cozy without feeling crowded, elevated but still relaxed.
I love coming here to sit and get some work done or meet a friend to catch up. It’s the kind of place where you can actually stay awhile.
The ownership is genuinely so kind & welcoming, and you can feel the care behind the space.

The drinks, the design, the plants, the vibes? IMMACULATE.
Plus the owners are lovely!!!
Also the security guard during the evenings(secret grove club) is the biggest sweetheart. Have had several great convos with him.
