Long birthday lunch for a dear friend - every bite was a delight! Radish & chive finger sandwiches, prawns, sole in parchment, spanakopita, basque cheesecake to finish. The chef was in Germany and the chef’s taking over the kitchen for the week offered equal care and creativity in each dish. Really wanted to like this cute place with very interesting menu. Party of three arrived at 1:30 for lunch and we were seated right away. One person got her order after 15 minutes, and finished her dish before the second person got her order. The third person waited … server kindly provided one glass of wine due to the wait. A must have experience in Portland. This darling small refuge serves up some of the best oysters and French food I’ve had in a style best suited for sharing. Ben’s service was bar none, and he made excellent recommendations . We will return anytime we are in Portland.
