McMenamins Blue Moon Tavern & Grill

This is our second visit to blue moon, our server was absolute amazing. The food was great, even though it was expensive, but that’s also McMenamins.

The host? Absolutely irresponsible.
My partner and I asked how long the wait would be after we sat for our food because we had a movie to attend, He informed us he would only be a 10 minute wait. In total, we waited an hour and 15 minutes for our food, which we did not get until the last 10 minutes of our time. Our waitress asked him three times to help serve food and he ignored her the first and second time like who does that? I have worked in the service industry and the least you could do is not lie to your guests or tell them that it is a one man kitchen.

Like I said, our server? Wonderful. Chef? Great! Bartender? Amazing!

I would rather spill hot coffee on myself than work with a host like that. I feel sorry for the team.

I left without buying anything.

Not sure what the hype is about Mcminnimins brand but as an out of town Dr I’m not impressed

It had been years since I was last here. Still has the cool low light vibe with the wood stove burning on a cold January day. Soup, sald half sandwich lunch special hit the spot, and my spouse enjoyed her Dungeon burger. A little pricey for what you get, but the ambience and nostalgia made it worth it.

The vibe is great! The food is overpriced for mid tasting food. There's better food in the area, even Blue Moon by the same company has better service...and the service is always trash here not sure why, but the bartenders are probably some of the rudest I've encountered consistently in town. So single ladies avoid this place solo. However, it's definitely cute. The patio area just has 2 tops, but does have outdoor seating.

Overall, this location has a great vibe. The fire pits are a standout feature that keeps me coming back. Like most McMenamins, the beer is underwhelming—nothing special. I assume others, like me, come for the ambiance, games, and company rather than what's on the menu. Have not eaten here yet, only had a liquid experience thus far.

Stopped by for a drink after work - I had been to a McMenamins before so already knew to expect the caveats with their food. That said - the drinks are so well priced which is perfect for a middle of the week out. The ambiance would definitely bring me back on a weekend - whether it's to have a cozy conversation by the fire or to play shuffleboard. Definitely a good spot if you want to play and have some drinks.

At an away game vs Portland Timbers, they were able to host visiting fans. They also have vegan burgers which was the dealbreaker!

Great vibes, great service, great burgers. No notes really. The coziness made it feel like somewhere I would eat every day if I could afford to do so, though the prices were decent enough, all under $20 and drink prices were not bad
