The menu with limited from what I saw on their website, I ordered a burger and it came back medium rare which at the time was not listed on the menu or by the waitress, I politely inform the waitress but I would like my burger well done at which time she told me they always serve their burgers medium rare, she took it back and I got a new burger which was again medium rare at that time I decided I did not want it and I only paid for my drink and I canceled my to go order, never again

Definitely tasty food, you pay for quality and service. And the food may seem pricy for the type of food but fresh and unique cost money.

It's a McMenamin's restaurant. Attach everything that goes with it: antique signage, proprietary arty atmosphere, wide variety of microbrews, and sturdy pub fare.
McMenamin's no longer cuts their own fries. I miss that terribly. These days, I find myself resorting to their tots, as their mass-produced shoestrings taste like sadness and missed opportunity. Seriously. DQ does fries better than McMenamin's nowadays. I feel like it's the end of an era.
Still and yet, their trademark burger offerings and high-quality ingredients don't disappoint. Their excellent variety of ciders and gf substitutions allow this seasoned pub ruminant-turned-cliche to still have a great experience. Don't expect a celiac-safe space. But intolerants should be fine.
Waitstaff are seasoned pros, and do a great job.
Glad to have this location in outer SE. It's an oasis in an otherwise big-box section of town.

Most of the McMenamins have a pretty consistent menu with a similar quality. It's pretty standard, tasty enough but nothing exciting. I go more for a convient meeting place. The service here was better than I usually find. The chain has always been over priced and they've even stopped cutting their own potatoes for fries on site.

Fish and chips were good but the clam chowder was too salty to eat. When they brought our food out we had them take the soup away and just advised it was too salty to eat, and it seemed the great service we were getting came to an end at that point. Dissapointed and won't be going back to this location.

Their food is usually excellent. Occasionally the side items might be mixed up or less fresh tasting on takeout. My vegetarian friend who has dietary restrictions almost always gets a perfect order without anything forgotten or messed up. Their drafts are always good. We love to occasionally fill a growler from mcmenamins since they change up their beer draft available fairly often. The only change I’d make is that management stop taking tips.

Vegetarian options: Mystic 18 burger and many salad options as well as starters.

Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, allergies, low dairy

First let me say that I have visited every Mcmenamins location in the passport. Great food, great beers, gorgeous art, and phenomenal architecture. This location stands apart from the rest with because of the staff. With all of their diverse personalities and kind nature I’ve never felt more welcomed than at this pub. They have gone the extra mile to remember my name and my order, often pouring me my favorite brew before I even ask. (Blackberry Cider/Ruby Mix! Aka: Bluby) This level of service and love what keeps me coming back, and honestly is in short supply these days. Thanks again to all the staff! Shout out to Jessica, Keiona, Michelle, Emily, and everyone else (especially the cooks) that I haven’t mentioned. Much Love!
