Love the White Eagle. Had lunch, did not stay in a hotel room. Funk atmosphere as all of their properties are. Good food, great service.

Liz Longley's show was wonderful! Her talent never ceases to amaze. Only bad thing was the hotel ghost pulling the firealarm 11pm.

We can in for lunch. It has been over 20 years since we were last in the neighborhood. Absolutely delicious clam chowder!!. Kirsten was wonderful-friendly and helpful. I'm so happy we stopped.Noteworthy details: Restaurant has so many unique items to look at. While you are waiting, and if you don't know much about the place, read about the history of the White Eagle Saloon and its ghostly visitors on your phone.

The space, bandv andvsound are great but they use plastic cups. Why McMenamins why are you making us complicit with destroying the earth?!? You got the coolest places and nice people working. Use glass like grownups and stop with the single use plastic!

Think hostel. And the live music at Saloon makes the room shake. There’s no way to sleep or have your head not hurt before 12am. I had to book another hotel for the same night just to get out. It’s just not a real hotel. No microwave or fridge to store food if needed. No front desk after midnight. The bartender/hotel reception was very nice though and offered to cancel and refund my stay

This out-of-the-way place used to be a brothel. They've kept the atmosphere in the rooms and the downstairs bar/dining area. Great activities. Check them out.

Very no frills room besides the fun decor. Bartender/front desk guy was extremely cool. Seems like a great place for a traveler to get some social time in downstairs, maybe even see a show, before bedtime upstairs. I unfortunately had a migraine as well as a 6am flight so went around the corner to the Fire Fish poke truck (?) and then to sleep.I picked this place for it's easy free parking and proximity to the airport. I did not fully grasp that I would be sleeping on top of a live band. ? However amazing bartender hooked it up with a box fan and was my hero.If the hotel does anything to improve, I would recommend white noise machines for sillies like myself.

I've never stayed at the hotel, so I'm judging solely based upon the saloon. The food was decent. The service was fair. The Atmosphere is astounding.!The history and authenticity behind this place is astonishing! I've seen it on TV. Stuff you read in books! ?

Before the Trail Blazers game we stopped at white eagles. We ordered Light beers and potatoes tots it’s a yummy and delicious. I like pictures, decorations and statues. Very unique and historical. But when you’re in there no one said welcome or hi at all. You came to bar area yourself and ordered foods or drafts. And you sit in a seat. They bring it to you. So if you wait until they come to you. You will wait long time. They didn’t have tension at all. But after order foods and eat something. They will check you out.Food & drinks: Potatoes tot and drafts are so good.
