I wasn't expecting much from a food truck but this was absolutely the best food. Super nice staff too.

OK, so Small Pharoah's came highly recommended. A friend who's in Portland often said to try this place and brought us here for lunch. Small Pharoah's is one of several food trucks in the Pod. Many were Middle Eastern but this was the only one open on a Saturday afternoon around 1 pm. It's open 24 hours a day which makes it stand out among the others. I had the Schwarma Saj for $8, no tax. It was literally one of the largest burrito like sandwiches I've ever ordered. I couldn't finish it in one sitting. Mine had cubed lamb and chicken and pickled veg, lettuce, onions. The flavor was great and authentic. Having been to Egypt and eaten street food I was happily pleased. This was probably the best thing I've eaten in Portland to date. I would go back in a heartbeat. There are a few stools to sit on with a counter and there is parking in the lot just behind all the food trucks.

Super fresh food. Beef burger was super moist. Philly gyro was a lil dry but a good deal at $7. Both came with fries also
