Such a great place for local sushi. They have a reasonable selection of rolls, fresh fish, fresh rice, and a kind hostess. This is a place I treat my family when we're all desperate for salmon nigiri. I recommend trying one of their house special rolls if you want something fried, something decadent, or something a little out there (King Kong roll).

Wonderful spot for sushi! Great selection of Saké! I ordered a Dragon Roll, Oregon Roll, and a Mango Roll. They were kind enough to use regular tuna instead of spicy tuna, for me. My mom had a California Roll and finally tried each of my rolls. She found them to be delicious. Proud of her for trying to branch out a little. I also managed to reach her how to use chopsticks, properly, too! LolAnyway, this spot is a hidden gem. I live in Vancouver but I will definitely be back!

Love this place. The food is delicious, generous portions, staff is very sweet and polite, atmosphere seems authentic to me, although I’ve never been to Japan. I’ve been here a few times, including bringing family from out of town. Highly recommend.

This Japanese family has been feeding me and my family since 2004. I’ve had a lot of different sushi’s since then but this place beats them all with one Ace-Quality. Outdated interior and design but it also gives almost movie-like feeling. But I care more about food and service and they’re hands down very very good at that. Love their Mango roll, King-Kong, Meeka 2, Meeka 3, Pear rolls❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Been eating here for years and can definitively say that this is my favorite Japanese restaurant by a mile.

This restaurant is amazing! I've spent much time in Japan, and Meeka brings that vibe right here to Gresham! The unagi was amazing. The o-toro was wonderful. The Sayuri roll is miraculously good.The staff are amazing. Our server Sayuri is so wonderful. Please take the time to enjoy some wonderful Japanese food and culture @ Meeka Sushi!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. Ask about how they can accommodate as well. Wonderful people & amazing flexibility.
We eat here about once a week. Freshest sushi I’ve had in the area and the teriyaki chicken comes as a large portion.

I had the best smoked salmon with avocado and cream cheese I've ever had! Salmon roe was very fresh and creamy! Miso soup was delicious as was the cucumber salad bathed in sweet vinegar! ?
