Small neighborhood redtaurant with what looks like a fabulous bakery. Pastries and desserts looked really good. Order when you go in and you'll have them after eating. Very friendly staff. Owner on site and involved with patrons and friendly. Its worth a longer drive to try it out. We did. Came from St. Helens at recommendation from friends. I thot a little pricey for what I got, a Monte Cristo sandwich.

Worst chicken fried steak I've ever had and the most expensive. Very gristly meat and burnt tasting gravy.

We just went here for breakfast this weekend and absolutely loved it! I don't even understand how they have so much on their menu and all the baked goods! They also cater Persian food which is absolutely insane and pretty hard to find in portland. This is definitely going to be my new favorite spot and local recommendation.

We absolutely love Mehri’s! We’ve been coming here for 15 years since we moved to Brentwood Darlington. It’s a neighborhood institution. Mehri and her staff are an absolute delight. Best Aperol Spritzes and chicken fried steak on the West Coast!😃❤️

Mehri's is the best breakfast in Portland. The country breakfast is to die for with tender biscuits and sausage gravy with plenty of meat. The sweets are also memorable with apple gellate and scrumptious brownies and cakes/cookies. Such a warm neighborhood atmosphere that is always welcoming whether you a first timer or a regular. Highly recommend!
