A hidden gem for fresh, flavorful Chinese pastries at unbeatable prices. The BBQ pork buns were everything you want—soft, glossy, generously filled with sweet, savory pork, and deeply satisfying. The surprise hit was the pineapple custard bun, with a creamy filling that tasted like a Chinese take on Boston crème—unexpected and absolutely delicious.

Simple, affordable, and packed with flavor. I’ll definitely be back.

The food is absolutely amazing! It got varieties of choices I could choose. The prices are reasonable, not crazily expensive which I really like! Service is alright, because the clerk face is always frowning, not happily greeting their customers. But, this doesn't stop me from coming back purchasing their delicious goodies.

The owners are nice and my favorite go to place for Chinese pastries. Shop is small so its not really a place to hang out. It's more for takeout or buy and go. Their fresh fruit cakes are exquisite. Fluffy, fruit, light and refreshing. I'm just not a fan of the store bought cakes with heavy icing. They make the cake on the same day you pick up (need to order ahead of time)

Everything you want for a Hong Kong style bakery.

I’ve been looking all over the place for good egg tarts and have finally found my spot.

Prices are great and the people working there are really friendly. Great for Chinese and English speakers alike.

Go there - you won’t regret it.

I went to this place because the moon cake I had at the Lan Su chinese garden was so dang good. The guy at the garden cafe said they get their moon cake at Mei Sum. It was my most amazing experience with the red bean paste. As an asian I am very keen about red bean. Mei Sum makes it just to the right amount of sweetness, and the pale scent of sesame oil on the pie crust goes crazy well with it. I love the texture of the red bean where it is not sticky and melting like the sugar on the powdered donut. Absolute fan now!

The vanilla durian cake she made for my parents 50th anniversary was so delicious. Everyone loves it because it has 3 layers of cake and more filling. We love it so much that we highly recommended for anyone who loves durian cake. I accidentally order a full sheet (huge cake) and it wasn’t going to fit in our fridge so she offers to keep the cake until we pick it the next day. She was very nice to tell us that she likes to make the cake on the day of the party so that we eat it fresh. All around the best service.
