Excellent food, the owners are very friendly and actually talk to their customers!! They offer live music, karaoke, and the owner has a band that plays their 1-2 times a month….They care about their regulars, even hold fundraisers to help them out….. can’t say anything bad about Mekong Bistro 🥰🥰

Oooo it's so hard when you find a gem this good not to gatekeep but I want them to stick around so...open till midnight with their full menu. The crazy wings are delicious, couldn't stop eating them, I got the Ah-Mol a delicious flaky fish in coconut milk served with an herby fish sauce and cucumber.it was so comforting and delicious. My favorite this meal was the desert songkya, a sticky rice with custard on top, so delicious and rich. They have an awesome ballroom and when we went there was a full on concert happening and all the aunties and uncles looking so fine in their pressed dresses and suits. It's fun and the server was so sweet.

Authentic Cambodian food that’s not afraid to bring that real SE Asian flavor; every Cambodian dish is a flavorful adventure. I’ve been to Thailand and am very picky about my pad thai and Mekong’s is the best I’ve had in Portland by a loooong shot. Family owned by the kindest people you could know who are actively engaged in the community. They are huge supporters of live music and you can catch great bands there too. Go check it out you will not regret it!!!

Celebrated API forward.... fantastic portland-style black tie event to celebrate a select group of asian college student leaders.
Wonderful food ... great signing by Louis Rohas, traditional Filipino folk dancing by the Filipino American Friendship Club FAFC, and a delicious multicourse family style dinner!

Flavorful food all across the table. Was a bit disappointed to not see pork labb (larb) on the menu - apparently, they do serve it, you just have to ask!
A lot of gluten-free options, clearly marked on the menu.
Tuesdays are “Industry days” - buy one entree, get another dish of lesser value for FREE. Insane.
They know how to make a street-food-level spicy som tam, couldn’t find it spiced right anywhere around Portland before.
Attentive and friendly service.
Looks like they have all sorts of events almost every night - Vietnamese karaoke nights, live bands, etc (according to the staff, haven’t been myself).

Ordered a bunch of Cambodian dishes, most of which were OK but we got extremely repelled by loc lac beef, which made us almost run out of this place. The beef tasted rotten. Lost all our appetite. No clue how any reasonable chef could have served spoiled meat… it wasn’t just one piece that tasted and smelt rotten, it was the whole plate. Of course we returned that item back. But you can’t take the experience back. Won’t be coming back here. Service was good! Thanks.

This place has great food. The atmosphere was fantastic. There was a birthday party that was going on and karaoke at that commencing at the time. Lots of joy in this place.
