Came here at 10am on a Tuesday and there was no wait and several tables available, but per other reviews not a TON of in restaurant seating. The recent top new 2024 restaurant award is well deserved, we had 2 bowls, one with beef sausage one with fish sauce bacon (more like pork belly to my non-pro definition) and both were out of this world, and the coffee was great too. Strongly recommend this place.

You order your food first then find a seat and they clean up your table so no need to bus your table. The space and seating is limited so it can probably get busy quickly during peak hours, but I went on a Monday so it wasn’t too crazy.
I ordered the Dac Biet Waffle and iced coffee. The iced coffee was delicious and well balanced. The Dac Biet Waffle was overall tasty and all paired well together packed with so much flavors. Next time, I would ask to have the spicy syrup on the side as it was too sweet for me and I just forgot I don’t really like syrupy waffles in general, but otherwise texture was great all together and I loved the arugula touch to it.
I’ll definitely go back and try other items on the menu!

I had an ube waffle and a cappuccino. Both food and drinks were amazing! I had breakfast with a bunch of others, and every single person enjoyed what they ordered, with particular praise for the cinnamon roll.
A note, the dining area is small and seating is rather limited, so come early. We had a toddler with our group, and they did not have a highchair (thus the three stars for service - but great other wise.)
Kid-friendliness: No high chairs.

I want to recognize this restaurant today. I was a recipient of their free Thanksgiving meal earlier today and though it’s not their regular fare, it was an incredibly lovely and generous gesture for the community. These owners looked a little stressed but one is always pushed to the limits with holidays and they’re so young that I’m not gonna worry. I understand that the restaurant is sensational and I’ll be there as a cash paying customer ASAP. Know how much you are cherished. Ty.

I just moved down here from Seattle with my wife and was happy to see a Viet influenced coffee shop just a few blocks away from our house. I got up this morning and walked in the rain to come get a coffee and check out the menu. The guy working register speaks in a super condescending tone to me the entire time. I order 2 coffees and he Starts speaking to other staff members, so I take a seat to look at the menu. He tells me I can’t sit until after I order and that he can’t give me change for a $20 bill. I was going to order food but was completely put off by the way he spoke to me. I’ll never be back

The bowl with hot sauce was so delicious! The peaches and cream matcha is also perfection.

I always forget to snap a photo of food until a couple bites in, apologies. Great new spot, love having more Vietnamese locations around. Quickest way to my wallet is quality Vietnamese food! The bacon is absolutely amazing you have to try it

I'd been anticipating this spot opening for some time and they did not disappoint. Coffee, excellent. Food, sublime. There is limited seating but don't be dissuaded by that, you won't have to wait long. We got the pandan waffle and the shrimp omelet. The house hot sauce is perfect for breakfast - bright, citrus heat.
So fire! We don’t go out for brunch much in Portland but will definitely be coming back here. Such fun, inventive drinks and dishes. My partner said the biscuits and gravy were the best he’s had. Very friendly staff and great vibes (& music). Definitely check it out!

A little small but at least the customers were very considerate when we arrived. Because there's limited seating, people just ate and left. Note that they only serve the Cinnamon rolls on weekends. There was no mention of that anywhere until we arrived, I was very disappointed cause I REALLY wanted that. We ordered the pandan waffle, chicken was not an option with this "weekday" menu, I did love the flavor and texture of the waffle but wished I had the chicken option, we settled for fish sauce bacon. Also had the bowl with fish sauce bacon. That gravy, though ??. I was very impressed with the salted cream coffee, very light and delicious. Tried the Macha peaches in cream. It was okay, but I'm not much of a Macha fan, so that's more of a me thing. The peach puree was enjoyable. I knocked it cause the menu was completely different from what's been posted. The food was yummy for what we had to settle on, def worth a try.

We got the chicken and waffles and the biscuits and gravy. Both were excellent. Good sized portions, great balance of flavors, and quality ingredients. Will definitely be back. The only con is that it's a very small space inside.

SO good. Cute, busy little spot. A wonderful addition to the street. Breakfast bowl and classic Vietnamese coffee were the perfect cozy combo for a chilly fall morning ?
