Food was great and service was nice until the waitress came and saw the tip I provided for her. My tip wasn't large nor was it a small amount for the meal i choose. I do believe if you have an issue with pay, you should discuss that with your manager and not be so rude about it to the customers. Or at least complain about it away from the customers :) hope she has a better day

Brunch was soooo good with the bubbles 👏🏾 I wouldn’t do the happy hour for food personally- my group had sooo much fun with the server and host!! Thank you Tiana and Sydney!! Tiana you were our girl fr 👏🏾🩵 SF MISSES YOU AND YOUR SHOES!! patio was awesome ❤️‍🔥

I am surprised by all of these high reviews, but I went on Thanksgiving and maybe they were off their normal game.
The food was bad. The potatoes, green beans, rolls, were all incredibly bland (and at least the green beans and rolls were out of bulk packaging, not fresh). The fish tasted like fish. The apple squash soup was like real sweet applesauce. The turkey and prime rib were cooked well but didn’t have flavor. The desserts were BAD. The apple crisp was applesauce with a few chunks of apple, no actual crisp or seasoning or flavor. The pecan pie was solid as a rock and we had to rock forks back and forth to pry off a bite. The cookies were straight out of a plastic box
It was just not a good dinner.

We arrived for late night happy hour on a Saturday night. It was a rare dry November evening, but the outdoor patio area was not set up. We were hoping to sit at a fire pit to have some cocktails. The bar manager was very friendly and accommodating and got us set up at a fire pit, and even a server came out to serve us so we didn't have to go up to the bar to order. Excellent customer service and the drinks are pretty good too. Large restaurant with a large bar and big windows with views of the city.

I had a work dinner emergency last night due Uber Eats (won’t ever use them again) cancelling my work order without any notice to me or the restaurant that I had placed the delivery order from. Scrambling last minute trying to think of a great place nearby, with excellent food, a colleague and I quickly brainstormed some ideas and I then called Metropolitan Tavern hoping for a miracle to get a dinner order placed for a group of docs within 20-30 minutes.

I was greeted via phone by Jason, one of the restaurant managers, with kindness and patience as he helped me get a to go order for roughly 15 guests placed and prepared as quickly as possible. The service was expedite, thorough, and when there wasn’t enough slices of the cake I ordered he had it substituted with a couple other delicious dessert options. Someone even walked with my Manager, who came to pick up the to go order, back to the office since it was dark and later in the evening as a safety precaution. Such a thoughtful and kind gesture. Customer service going above and beyond right there!!

The docs were so happy to receive dinner before the meeting was over, and they all said that everything was delicious! I had ordered each pizza offered, both salads offered, cheesecake, and the chocolate cake. All were wonderful and we plan on using Metropolitan Tavern more often for lunch and dinner going forward due to their exemplary customer service, being available for an urgent last minute to go dinner order, and their excellent meal selection.

If you go to a show at Moda center, park in the Moda garage and it’s a 10 minute walk to this great place. We had the happy hour pizza, fries and cocktails. A bit loud, but would come again! Nice server. Really good, hot food. Great Old Fashioned!

Rooftop restaurant to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary!

Bartender had the memory of a goldfish. Manager (or whoever the man in the red shirt was) made snide comments after bringing up an error they made.

Stopped in there for lunch and a great little place. Menu is fairly simple, but pretty diverse selections. We had the buffalo cauliflower appetizer and it was fantastic. I had the flat iron steak salad as well which was really delicious. Sat out on the roof and the weather was perfect. Wait staff is very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend and plan to go back again on the same trip.
