My normal restaurant was closed I went here I found it to be delicious.

Birria tasted like dishwasher water and so many onions in the salsa

Parking: About 20 chairs and 8 tables, take out available.

A hearty portion of perfectly cooked lamb shank and rice with really good handmade corn tortillas that are gluten free! I am happy to have found this little one-woman restaurant for the days I don’t have the energy to figure out what the heck I can eat.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free corn tortillas are available

The lamb shank was so tender and delicious that I could almost have eaten it with a spoon.

Pretty filthy place.

Stood around when I arrived and had to hunt someone down in the kitchen to get seated.

Birria was awful. Old, mostly bones with poor seasoning. Some of the worst I've ever had.

The worst Mexican food restaurant in Portland, not recommended at all, at an exaggerated price.

To start with, the place was too dirty, poor service from the staff, unpleasant atmosphere with a dog eating inside the establishment. I asked for a chicken broth and they gave me a beef broth and they only added the chicken. Too expensive to be a dirty restaurant. Bad expectations eating at a restaurant in Portland for the first time. I hope to have good expectations from the next Mexican restaurant.

Postscript: I love Mexican food.

This place was super authentic. The shop manager was cooking, running the till and serving the food. She didn't speak English to us at all, though she seemed like she could have if we needed help. It was honestly like being at a restaurant in Mexico.
Everything was fresh, especially the tortillas and tacos and so if you like their menu offerings, it's going to be very very good.

She was obviously busy with the food, so not much of a waitress, but it was very solid for something very real, SO much better than any drive though place.

The beef broth that they served me was completely beaten, it was not beef, it was balls of fat and bones, it took 30 minutes to serve, what we ordered 20 minutes before by phone, Not recommended, apart from very expensive. And I never deny the price of food.
