Just LOVE this place, what a GEM! Totally unique menu/vibe/everything. What if your favorite dive bar was just the periphery of an amazing breakfast kitchen?

Terrible customer service. They don’t even acknowledge you or greet you, at least say we will be with or just say sign in. We waited and waited finally just walked out.
Get there early. Get the fried French toast, that is heaven. Good scrambles. I left happy and full. Great service! I got a mule, which i didn't think was good but the food and service made up for that.

I had really high hopes for this place seeing all the awesome reviews, unfortunately we had a not so great experience. Could have been an off day for them, but I ordered a dish and it came with absolutely no seasoning in it. I have never sent back a meal in my life, but everyone at my table tried my meal and said it was awful as well. I kindly approached our server (woman with the short, faded pink hair) about it, I felt bad even saying anything at all. She was incredibly rude and told me “that’s what the salt is for.” A different server comped my meal and made up for the interaction, but I was super disappointed in the service. Overall, great drinks and everyone else’s food looked great, but there’s no way I’m coming back here after the service we experienced.

Amazing food. Our server was also great - a man w long black hair and amazing style. Super attentive, really funny. But the blonde woman who was also working front of house was rude enough with the two questions I asked her, I'm going to hesitate to go back. I would hate to have her as my sever next time.
Maybe she shouldn't work with customers if she hates thems?
Kid-friendliness: Had kid chairs!

I feel like I just stepped into old Portland and I’m in love. The vibe was spot on, the food was amazing, I tried the vegan chilaquiles with the hash potatoes and I’m trying to figure out when I can go back. It was little spots like this that drew me to Portland in the 90’s. I’m so stoked to have found this place. I went on a Monday morning when they opened and it was super chill, never got crazy busy while we were there.
Vegetarian options: I’m vegan and there were items clearly marked vegan to choose from. The vegan chilaquiles were amazing!
Dietary restrictions: Someone in my party had dietary restrictions and they were able to easily accommodate them.
Parking: When I went at 9am on a Monday there was plenty of parking in the small lot. I could see on the weekend this filling up immediately and having to find street parking in the neighborhood.

Have been coming here for years but won’t anymore because of the woman server. I was ignored, and was given attitude (not in a good way), and was treated rudely. I came mid morning when it was not too busy. It is too bad because I always like the food. I am very forgiving and totally understand a server having a bad day but her rudeness to me was over the top and I will never return.

Best kept "secret" brunch in town. Reminds me of what Portland used to be.

Vegetarian options: I am dating a vegetarian and they are always happy at the choices available to them at midpoint.

If you live in Portland and don’t go here with some regularity, sorry but you are doing it wrong. This is classic Portland breakfast. Vegan and Omnivore friends in harmony over the best bloodies and mimosas. Mid Muffin is my go to and everything I try is top notch. Weekend wait is epically long.

So good. Just go. You can choose between hashbrowns or a red potato mash....GET THE MASH AND ADD GRAVY lol.
Best part besides gravy (duh) was the crispy fried cheese under the whole thing!
I had a coffee cocktail that was also delicious. The server wasn't the most attentive but I was eating alone with headphones so they may have just been trying to be respectful.
PS parking lot is not great but there's neighborhood and street parking
