Do NOT come here!!!! They are scammers. I ordered the 8 piece lovejoy shrimp roll and only got two pieces with shrimp in them. I also ordered the miso soup and it did not look the same as the picture. The picture showed me that they have sewed and other ingredients in them, but the miso soup was just broth. When I called them about it, they said “I remember you, you got what you ordered. You are wrong”. I will be coming back with the pictures I took, except I will be coming back with a lawyer. Shame on you, mio sushi

Food was well presented. Very fresh selection of fish. Service was very friendly. Very clean plates.

Terribly slow service on a slow Friday night. They had one waitress doing takeout, serving, and taking orders. Will not be coming back to Mio in the future. Seemed like they prioritized the door dash orders over in-house customers. Extremely disappointing overall.

This is my favorite Mio Sushi location. They seem to have the freshest tasting rolls and the owner/manager is wonderful. I’ve been to many of the other locations and haven’t had the same friendly experience and the rolls haven’t been as good. I used to live a block away and it was one of my favorite sushi places. I’ve been to this location countless times times, and have always had a good experience. Some of the more negative reviews surprise me because I haven’t run into issues like them, but I’m sure it happens as mistakes happen from time to time. Happy to give this place my business because the food is great and owners/managers are great (not sure if the people I’ve met are the l owners or manager). Will be going back. Today was a take out, but dining in is always a nice experience as well.

This Mio Sushi within the Pearl is a very weird vibe. It is not cozy like the one near NW 23rd and I would even say that the sushi comes out worse at this location. The only time I went inside it was completely empty on a Sunday giving me the impression this place is not a very welcoming restaurant to dine in with many opting to take out instead. The food isn't bad, it is decent, but you are sure to find better options. I'd recommend the Mio Sushi near 23rd which is one of my favorite sushi places in Portland over this location.

Skip this if you're a delivery driver. Restaurant is not even half full and they are 20 min behind on online orders. They lied to me and said it would take 5 minutes. It's been 20 min and still nothing. Most places that actually have to cook their food can keep up with orders. This sushi spot is unfortunately extremely, painfully slow

Food was pretty good. Good flavor but needed a bit more sauce (got the bento with chicken and beef.) Service was fairly slow. Restaurant was not busy (only 2 other tables), but there were many delivery service orders that were being picked up. One of our friends sushi rolls was forgotten, and then she got it when we were done eating. Had better luck at another Mio sushi location. Not sure if I'd return.

I’ve ordered pickup from here a handful of times. The last two times now, including the evening of 4th of July, the teriyaki chicken in the Bento box has lacked sauce, and has extremely dry and tough. The sushi is good, but with the chicken teriyaki being consistently bad, I’d advise going elsewhere if you’re a fan of bento boxes.

Food was mediocre. Service was not good. Had to ask for plate, utensils, soy sauce, dish for the soy sauce etc. Things that should be already available when you order sushi. Restaurant had a weird dirty like smell. Not recommend this place.

In an area full of overpriced restaurants I found Mio Sushi and couldn't believe the prices. With trepidation my wife and I decided to try out this much more reasonably priced sushi spot before a concert at the Crystal Ballroom.I'm glad we did! We started with the Agedashi Tofu and Miso Soup. Both were fantastic and the tofu was perfectly crispy. The tofu comes separate from the Agedashi sauce so it stayed nice and crispy to the last bite. My wife always wonders why more places don't do this and was super excited when they served the dish and she saw it was.My wife has a small stomach so she also had the Pork Gyozas. Well fried, thin wonton and a well seasoned filling. The sauce is the same sauce that comes with the Agedashi Tofu. Wasn't bad, but seemed odd to have the same sauce for both. Also, the sauce is cold. The items dipped in it are warm enough that it isn't a cold bite, but again a bit odd.I had the Portland Roll and a Sake (salmon) Nigiri. The salmon was beautiful!! Perfectly sliced, very sweet and flavorful. The Portland Roll was salmon, REAL crab, cucumber, green onion and sesame seed. I always avoid Krab with a K but since it was real crab I gave it a whirl.Woah.Um, where has this roll been all my life?! The only thing I wished for was avocado, otherwise wow. Real crab and salmon are best friends, I promise. The people behind the sushi bar are super friendly and the wonderful little old lady who ran the front of the house was great.
