The food is good, but the staff is quite inattentive to simple requests. It feels like they either don’t care or aren’t listening, whether it’s the waiters or the cooks. I’m sensitive to certain ingredients that are easy to leave out, and if they confirm they can accommodate my request, I expect them to follow through (and paying extra tip for that)—otherwise, I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Hands down the best sushi I have ever had, and the friendliest service to be found in Portland. We've been several times, and it's never less than a perfect experience. This is our go-to place for sushi. You really can't beat it. The unagi, sweet shrimp, salmon belly, and creamy scallops are my favorites, and they serve other kinds of entrées as well. The mochi is delicious, too, if you somehow save enough room for it. 10/10, I'm a loyal customer for life.

Come here regularly. The quality of the food and the service every time I come is always top notch. They even have outdoor seating which is very nice during the summer!

A lovely meal! The service was excellent and the udon and the poke salad were both delicious! We'll be returning often, I'm sure.

I ordered chicken bentos ? and 2 dragon Mango rolls and Mt Fuji, Mt Rainier rolls spend $100.80 not what I expected I would say just one of the rolls tasted good but the other ones just lack of flavor not what I expected, also I found a fish bone on one of the sushi rolls. My kid was eating one of the sushi roll I had to stop him just to prevent that he eat one fish bone.

It's Mio, not really any different than any other Mio aside from the new interior. They are a good small local chain, I've been to them all, even the one in Vancouver. Came to this new location during their pre-opening and it wasn't too busy on weekday evening at 6 PM. Food and service is always consistent. The Oregon Roll with real crab, not imitation Krab with a 'K' is to die for, of course I got one and it was just as good as always. Where Mio always seems to fail is with the Hamachi nigiri, I almost think they're serving Yellow Fin instead of Yellowtail? Two completely different fishes. The Hamachi looks like Yellow Fin, a dull pinkish color and always has a bit of a sour old fishy after taste. Sashimi is often a better a cut and looks appropriate, Yellowtail is an Amberjack and should be more transparent white in color with a red edge and with a clean smooth delicious buttery flavor. This seems to be a consistent issue with sushi places around Portland with exception to Murata and Sinju who do Hamachi nigiri right. In LA this was never an issue either. Otherwise, everything was great and most of the staff was still masking up regardless of no one else, which is doesn't bother me either way. Nice food presentation and clean interior.Came again on recent sunny Friday evening at 5PM and the place packed full with an hour wait and the immediate shared parking lot was pretty full as well, but there's quite a bit of parking if you don't mind parking around the side toward the library. I'm sure Portland's first warm sunny day might of had something to do with the influx. Otherwise, nice to have a Mio with easy parking only a few blocks away from where I live. I definitely see a few more Oregon rolls in my future.

Vegetarian options: Several items available with no fish or meats.

Dietary restrictions: Can order custom sushi on request and they do have vegetarian options. Free easy lot parking, but can get busy, disabled friendly with no stairs.

Parking: Lot is shared, usually pretty easy but does get busy during prime hours and nice weather. Extra parking spots on side of building and in overflow lot where library is.

Kid-friendliness: Sure, kids are welcome.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy, everything is flat and spaced out well. Two disabled parking spots just out front of doors (can get busy), newer construction and sidewalks.

Vegetarian options, good service. Bento box was good, though the sushi was the best part!

Forget conveyor belts. This place is all about made-to-order sushi, and you can taste the difference! Cozy spot, pricey, but the quality is top-notch. Agedashi Tofu and nabeyaki udon were delicious, too.Wait time is understandable for fresh food. This will be my new special occasion sushi spot!
