The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had the shared plate and chose a variety of small tastings - we loved each dish each was very flavorful. The “spicy” was not over the top which I appreciated.

The first thing is you have stand in line to order. Not a problem unless it is raining. The line to order moves very slowly. The food was really hit or miss. Some of the items were good but others not at all. We tried 10 different dishes. Also many of the dishes were room temperature when they should have been hot. We ordered a sampler that was supposed to feed two to three people. It actually was too much for four adults and one child. The roast pan was described as crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It was a large piece of stale bread. It took two hands to break a piece off.

I wasn’t sure what to expect as I never experienced Sri Lankan food before.. but this was so good! I had a rice and curry plate and it was MASSIVE. I had two jackfruit dishes, beef, Dahl, and the pumpkin curry and okra which were a daily special. The food was a little salty but the flavors were insane. I also tried the non alcoholic tamarind drink with the homemade ginger beer which unfortunately didn’t do it for me. Updated from previous review on 2025-11-12

We had an incredible meal here. Great for vegans and people with other dietary restrictions. We split the rice and curry platter and it was plenty for two. We had a nice cocktail and a nice mocktail. There's indoor and outdoor seating and heat lamps outside. Street parking nearby. The food and drinks came quickly. The model is order and pay at the bar. Gratuity included.

One of the best meals we had on our trip to Portland - and we had a LOT of good meals! The flavors are totally unlike anything I've had before and as vegetarians, it was awesome to have our pick of the WHOLE menu. We ordered the rice and curry meal which comes with all kinds of fun sides and sauces. It was fun to try a little bit of everything. The housemade soda and iced tea were also delicious. This food was SO GOOD do not miss out on this! And the people working there were very sweet as well :)

The service is incredible and the food is top notch. The daily plate special has a wide variety and the serving sizes are generous.

There is limited space inside, but the covered patio is expansive. The drink specials are reasonable.

All the food is vegan and both ethically and morally sourced. This place frequently gives back to the community - such as feeding hungry bikers during some bike summer rides. ☀️

The road noise can sometimes be loud.

Food was pretty flavorful and large portions. Could have used more spice in my opinion or offered a spicier alternative but very good nonetheless. Lots of GF options too. The coconut roti was yummy!
I do like that the prices are all inclusive of a tip already makes it easy.
The space is mostly outdoor seating so plan/dress accordingly.
Will be back for another curry.

Incredible food, perfect for vegans and for people who love veggies. Hands down the best meal I've had in Portland, and also the best meal I've had all year out of any country I've visited. Flavorful, and a full international rollercoaster (filled with only highs) of amazing flavors. We got the plate of the day and a stuffed veggie roti, and split for a group of 4. Plenty of feed, even with some for Togo. I highly recommend coming and enjoying!

I cannot believe how amazing this food was. If you can only go to one spot in the PNW, let this be it. They are in a category of their own with a flavor profile that I’ve not found before. My only note is that the line can be long, so consider ordering online (there’s plenty of seating though). Updated from previous review on 2025-10-02

We’ve been several times. The curry of the day is the best. Don’t think too hard and just jump in. And why not get it for breakfast? The location also serves traditional brunch fare, perfect for the less adventurous and kids. The pancakes were amazing. I’ve now been back several times and even hosted a party here. So, yeah, it’s a cool place. One of the best representatives of Portlands unique and diverse vegan scene.

I LOVE Mirisata. They are a Portland gem. The food is higher priced than I would usually pay, but the curry meals are so generous in portions. I have never tasted some of their flavors before coming to their restaurant which is very exciting for me. I highly recommend bringing friends and sharing the family meal! Be sure to try their drinks and desserts too. Updated from previous review on 2023-09-13

We ordered most of the menu. Everything was packed with unique and powerfully delicious flavors.

Their combo plates never disappoint. What I found surprising was their wings! It blew my mind. The texture and flavor were something I never expected to have again after going vegetarian
