Tlayuda
Crispy handmade tortilla layered with black bean puree, and spices, local Oaxaca cheese (quesillo), cabbage, avocado, cilantro, grilled tomato, and choice of topping: asada, cecina (think beef slice) carnitas, chorizo, chicken, veggie, and nopales (pricky pear cactus).
Mole Plate
Dark mole sauce, rich in flavor with roasted peppers, almonds, sesame seeds, and much more. Served with black beans, Mexican rice, choice of leg quarter, chicken breast, or vegetables, and organic tortillas.

Appetizers (Antojitos)
Tacos
Street taco. Organic tortilla, choice of topping, onions, cilantro, and lime.
Picadita
Thick handmade organic tortilla layered with salsa, sour cream, lard, black beans, guacamole, cabbage, queso fresco, and choice of filling.
Ceviche
Shrimp. Cooked shrimp marinated in lime juice, onion, cilantro, tomato, avocado, cucumber, and served with house chips. Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.
Memelas
Gluten Free. Thick handmade tortilla layered with lard, sour cream, black beans, salsa, and queso fresco.
Taquitos Dorados
Deep fried hand rolled tacos, garnished with sour cream, queso fresco, guacamole, and pico de gallo. Chicken, pork, and potato.
Nopales Salad
Gluten Free. Vegetarian. A light freshly of prickly pear cactus. Nopales have a delicate and slightly tart veggie flavor. Marinated with lime, tomato, cilantro, and jalapeno peppers.
Mole Taco
Organic handmade tortilla, black beans, rice, and cabbage salad. Choice of chicken, pulled pork, or veggie.
quesadilla
Flour tortilla, garnished with pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole, and choice of filling.
Burrito
Black beans, rice, onions, tomato, cilantro, sour cream, cheese, and choice of filling.

We love the authentic fresh food, great prices and service. We frequent this neighborhood favorite and so happy we found such a gem.Summer months are great for margaritas on the patio.Highly recommend for those with dietary restrictions. Nearly everything is gluten free, vegan options and house-made corn tortillas. Yum!!

I have only been to their station at the Montavilla Farmers Market. The food I had was fantastic. I never thought I liked Tamales but their tamales are SO good. My favorite is the Popeye Tamale it's vegetarian and has spinach, it's delicious smothered in salsa Verde. One of these days I will check out the brick and mortar restaurant.

The food is delicious, like incredibly good, the service is not good. It’s been months since I was back here because it takes a long time to get your food, or water, or a drink, and it hasn’t changed. The family that runs this restaurant is so nice and I like supporting them. But the service seems to be getting worse over time. I recommend visiting in the summer when you have a lot of time to wait on the patio.
