Didn’t get to try MO’s in Portland so I thought I would give their airport location a try. Should be the same, just a little pricier I assumed. Well the soup was ok, but tasted more like potato soup than clam chowder. Hardly any clams in my soup either. Only good thing is the prices in the Portland airport are nothing like the prices at LAX, so not a big loss. I did also pick up their frozen soup base which travelled well even though they don’t have plastic bags to catch...
Not sure if it actually tasted different or it was just the airport atmosphere, but the clam chowder was just ok, and not on the level of the costal locations at all. The picture does it justice.
