Momiji's location is a bit of a double-edged sword: somewhat hidden, and out-of-the-way for the casual diner, but eminently located for anyone stuck in and around OHSU for an extended period of time. It also suffers slightly from that association, as one might consider it "hospital food", with all of its sordid associations. Thankfully, I can confirm there's nothing to worry about here.

This is one of THE BEST sushi spots in Portland and my favorite Momiji location because of its friendly staff and high-quality food!! I always have a great experience dining in. The staff provides great recommendations so I've had the chance to try a variety of their selections, and I've found that the consistency is their greatest trait!!! The sushi is very high quality and fresh every single time; I love sashimi so it's important to me that the fish is fresh....

We went here for lunch on a Friday and it wasn't crowded. We were seated and ordered drinks. Promptly served our drinks and order taken by a very polite server.
The food came out in 12 minutes, and it was all fresh and hot. The flavors are quality of everything we ordered was absolutely perfect!!! Delicious 😋 and portions are fairly big too. I definitely recommend a visit.
