Just tried this spot and this experience reminded me not to try new restaurants, especially new sushi restaurants, regardless of star reviews.
My fish was just rotten. Just brown, super stinky, rotten. Total waste of money. Total waste of food. I have never seen this kind of quality from a sushi place that is serving to order. It is crazy to have actively made a decision to plate that for someone.
So many people are going to get dooped by the star reviews at this place. But worse, someone is going to get sick if this is the standard for their quality.

Loved this place a couple of years ago! I ordered last night expecting the same. Unfortunately, the rolls were sloppy and the shrimp and avocado were NOT fresh. I threw most of my order away. The spring rolls were ok. This is close to my house but I will not be ordering again.
The Honey Bee & the Wolfbite rolls are sooo good. The service was very nice & I liked how even if you are sitting outside they will bring the food to you!

Love their food. Hidden gem.
It’s good but they have raised the price on salmon roll 40% in two years. From 5.5 to 7.57. CPI index on sushi must be crazy.
Love love love this place. Excellent food. The only thing they could change would be the packaging.

This place I would highly recommend. The serves here was very good and nice even though it took me forover for some people in my party to choose what they wanted. They also have good atmosphere and the tables are clean and doesn't take that much time to wait (5-10 minutes for my party). The food was also very good and I hope you guys are able to come her with a party and have a good time as well a I did when I came.
Also side note (that doesn't have to do with my review of this place) I would like to apologize for not posting in such a long time but I will be able to start posting agian.

Great lowkey, fast, friendly sushi spot. It's like a diner for sushi! Only discovered it a few weeks ago and have already been several times.

Absolutely delicious! One of our fav places in Portland to get sushi. The fish is fresh and tastes good every time. We tried another location and it just wasn’t the same as the Barbur one. They always have a promo going on/prices are already very reasonable for the quantity and quality. I highly recommend Momiji!

Very decent sushi for a Portland chain. Great variety of sushi for regular mid-week sushi runs.

Fabulous sashimi for a very reasonable price. Mackerel, salmon belly, tuna all buttery and melt in mouth quality. Rainbow roll was full of fish and avocado. Ordered from here before and similar quality each time. Great healthy meal. 😋
