Great lowkey, fast, friendly sushi spot. It's like a diner for sushi! Only discovered it a few weeks ago and have already been several times.

Absolutely delicious! One of our fav places in Portland to get sushi. The fish is fresh and tastes good every time. We tried another location and it just wasn’t the same as the Barbur one. They always have a promo going on/prices are already very reasonable for the quantity and quality. I highly recommend Momiji!

Very decent sushi for a Portland chain. Great variety of sushi for regular mid-week sushi runs.

Fabulous sashimi for a very reasonable price. Mackerel, salmon belly, tuna all buttery and melt in mouth quality. Rainbow roll was full of fish and avocado. Ordered from here before and similar quality each time. Great healthy meal. 😋

Here on New Year’s Eve- only 530pm and the place is packed. So so so busy. So many people here. Everyone is here. We are having a party. There are 2 lines of tickets waiting to be filled and packed. 🤩

Very yummy, decent prices. But they shorted me a piece of nigiri (should have had 4 salmon).

WOW!! This is the best sushi I've had in Portland. Their lunch special is such a great deal too. I'll definitely be back!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Ordered 2 avocado rolls and the avocado was so hard it was inedible. I called to let the restaurant know (didn't even request a refund) and I was hung up on.
Horrible food, and even worse service. Do not go here.
I usually try to only share positive experiences and we've been here in the past without problems, but I ordered a $17 dragon roll (pick up) the day before yesterday that was inedible.
I opened it as soon as my husband brought it home and it was a gloppy, mushy mess. I was hungry enough that I could have lived with that but it was SO fishy smelling/tasting on top of falling apart that I couldn't even manage half. My husband got a Philadephia roll (his usual) and noticed it was much fishier than usual; he ate it, but he didn't enjoy it much.
We ordered right before closing, so it felt like they were getting rid of their old fish for the day. Just thought I'd warn others in case it wasn't an isolated incident.

The food is good and at a reasonable price. It's such a cozy little spot, too. I have never been to Japan, but I could totally see this being a nice little hole in the wall in Tokyo. Seating looks out onto Barbur Blvd, and it would be so nice to just gaze out on a rainy day eating good sushi here.

Pretty good
Awesome sushi at more than reasonable prices. Way way better than any sushi that Bamboo Sushi has.
