I recently celebrated my daughter's 21st birthday at Momoyama, and while the food was delicious, the service was disappointing. We communicated the special occasion when making the reservation and to our server upon arrival, yet we felt rushed at the start.
The highlight of our experience was undoubtedly the food—Momoyama’s sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making our choice to have a fun sushi dinner appealing. However, the overall experience was overshadowed by the service shortcomings.
I hope they can improve their service to ensure that special occasions are treated with the care they deserve.

I made a reservation and arrived on time. My party of three was quickly seated to a table set with water, utensils, napkins and menus. We then waited 10 minutes for someone else to acknowledge us. Someone (not a server) came up and asked if we had any questions, and if they could take a drink order while we waited for our server, who "would be with us shortly." We waited another 5 minutes for the drinks to be delivered and eventually a waiter to arrive. After finally ordering, food came quickly. We decided to order more sushi, but it took a long time to get the attention of our waiter who stopped to acknowledge or request and said he would be back quickly. It took another 5-10 minutes for him to return. I expected better service, especially as the restaurant was not very busy. I will not be returning.

We didn't know that we needed to book omakase ahead of time but luckily they had an opening for two. We didn't really have much expectations going in but the food and service were both great! Would recommend trying their omakase for sure!

Absolutely terrible service loster rolls tasted like it was old the 50 dollar steak I ordered I wanted for 40 minutes for before I was asked if I didn't mind waiting another 10 that steak would be right out to me I politely refused all and all money wasted my friend waited for her steak and it was ice cold after that we got our nice friends and family discount smh 350 dollars bill

This sushi spot feels like dining inside a series of oversized confessionals—you can’t see another soul, but you sure can eavesdrop on their wasabi secrets. The lighting hums with vibey energy, like the fish themselves picked the mood. Fresh salmon melts into existence, and the spicy tuna slaps like a surprise high five. The only mystery roll here is the parking lot, which feels less “restaurant” and more “choose-your-own-adventure.”
The lobster sushi roll is really delicious and also the fresh market sashimi set! The server is really nice as well!
