The owner, Billy, always has a crackling wood fire going, creating an inviting atmosphere even on dreary mornings. He brews a delicious, well-balanced, and full-bodied espresso, as well as a perfect bright cup of drip coffee that pairs well with breakfast pork roll from the adjacent Moore Food food cart. Customers can enjoy their coffee in the cozy courtyard seating with a fire pit. The space is in a converted alley with plenty of comfy seating, making it a great place to hang out. The owner makes awesome coffee from the back of a VW van, adding to the unique charm. While the hours may be a bit irregular, the friendly owner and good coffee make it a favorite neighborhood spot and one of the best-kept secrets in SE Portland.
