Not Your Basic Beans & Rice! 🌮✨
This spot goes above and beyond with a flavorful variety of taco options for vegetarians, non-vegetarians!
Absolutely worth the stop.
You can tell the food is made with love, and every bite delivers.
It’s definitely worth the wait. A must-visit for any taco lover!
My new go-to spot. One of the tastiest burritos I’ve had to date. I went for the first time last week and had to go back a few days later - it’s that good. The owners are incredibly kind and generous. I look forward to spending all my money supporting their business!
Wow the tacos were amazing!
Ask for cheese they fry it onto your handmade tortilla.
The salsas were insanely good too

Great tostones, and their black pastor machete was out of this world. Loved the crispy cheese skirt!
This is my new favorite! Burritos are fresh, delicious, and made with quality ingredients. The flavors are nuanced and satisfying in every way. I’ll be back!
They are very friendly and fast! The black pastor tacos are amazing! Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in Portland! Definitely recommend.
The food here is very mid. Maybe because I’m from Texas… I had the quesadillas with 3 sides, elote, rice & beans. the elote was soggy, idk if it was the mayo or cheese that was runny and pooled to the bottom of the cup (btw this was a takeout order). I really like corn though so I still give it 6/10 despite that
the rice was just as if they made instant rice and threw some ketchup on it, and the beans were bland. Both prolly a 2/10. The only thing good was the quesadillas, which I could give a 7/10. Really it was the sides that threw me off, hopefully they can perfect their recipes in the future!
The woman that owns the place is SO kind and her food is SO good, and the son is also very sweet, definitely my new favorite taco place. The blackened pastor tacos were out of this world, and so was the quesabirria. The churros where so crispy outside and fluffy inside, perfection.
Amazing food, great service, good prices. Everything tastes so fresh and perfectly seasoned. Tried the potato tacos, the best i’ve had in portland! can’t wait to come back and put all my friends on this place, wow !! 🤩
Don't skip this place. Everything here is prepared with immense care and the recipes are magical. The young fellow who runs it is super stoked to serve you their amazing food, with so much hospitality, and honestly it feels like they're serving you right from their home. The handmade tortillas are incredible. I can't stop thinking about the food I just ate, like, hours later, I can still taste some of the best tacos and esquites I've ever had. I can't wait for them to be open again on Tuesday so I can go back.

We got takeout and it was awesome! The large burritos are truly enormous and gave us leftovers for two days, which my kid loved. The owners are so kind and the food is delicious!
Vegetarian options: Clear menu of vegetarian fillings for the burritos. We tried two of them (one papastor and one tofu); both were excellent.
