Great first experience. I really appreciated the QR and online ordering system. We could get what we wanted as we played without having to wait for a server to check in. Food and drinks came out so quickly. Online system again meant we could pay and leave as soon as we were done. We showed up at 6 on Friday night and we might have been lucky that there was plenty of seating. Stayed at the table playing games for almost 5 hours with no pressure to wrap up. Good food too.
My fiancé and I love to play board games together. Mox is a great date night place where you can test out a new game and get dinner at the same time (or just get an order of truffle fries and a cocktail). The selection of games to demo is the best we have found in the area. The shop portion also has the vast majority of games we've interested in. For suburbanites like us, they also validate up to 90 minutes of parking.
Google seems really confused about how to classify this place, and I can't really blame them for that.
It's a shop for table top roleplaying and card games, with a heavy focus on Magic the Gathering, but it also has a restaurant and you can play the games while you eat. I think it's also a hotel? Not positive, but it had a great variety of games and game supplies and I really enjoyed the opportunity to look around!
