They are conveniently located at the yard at montavilla food carts. I like that they open late. I got food at about 3:30 am. The food was hot as it was prepared on the spot.
However, i just realized that not all the food that they sell are halal. After reading other people’s review, now i know that the owners say that hotdog/corndog items are not halal. I felt deceived as i had bought a philly cheese steak and a hotdog. This was not mentioned by the guy working the cart and the signage did not clearly specify this. They just have one halal logo on their big menu. So, my assumption was that their whole menu was halal. The owners need to clearly state which items are halal and which are not. People that observe halal consumption can still buy the halal stuff on the menu and avoid the non-halal items.
Dietary restrictions: Not all items are halal. Be careful.

My Muslim brothers and sisters!!! Beware this place claims to be halal, but it is “HALAL”. Basically, it is NOT zabiha halal. I saw a chicken corndog box next to the trailer’s trash which does NOT have a zabiha halal certificate. The owner just put a fake halal label on the menu of the trailer.
Ignorance played its role for the owner a trick. 😡😡😡Just because it’s chicken or beef doesn’t mean it is halal, as you know cow, chicken have to be slaughtered in an Islamic way. Then it’ll b zabiha halal!!!

I don’t recommend this place for a Philly cheese steak the bread was really soggy and fell apart immediately I had to go back get a fork to eat my Philly. All tho the meat was good just super salty and not well put together just looked like it was all put together so quickly. The fries were really hard to eat they were to crispy. The Philly cheese way to hot to eat it literally burned my mouth right way it was hard eat because of it being hot. it was. It was super greasy. But overall I don’t recommend them if you are trying a Philly cheesesteak for the first time

I'm 39. And I've been eating burgers since I had baby teeth. This place has no business selling burgers. If you know what burgers taste, look, and feel like, don't try them here you'll be REALLY upset. I hope they stop selling burgers.

Wanted to try to so many different things from here but I am glad I got one thing on the fly and learned my lesson. The service provided by the only person working there was excellent but the food provided almost felt like I was being pranked. It was the "Split Burger" and the pattys were drier than the beef jerky.
I was visiting my mom in Portland and watched The Bear. Got excited for a solid beef sandwich and found this place on Google review. And it didn’t disappoint! The Philly steak sandwich and the lamb with provolone cheese sandwich was AMAZING!! It was easy to find the food truck, place my order, and everything was quick. Price is reasonable as well. Plus, you get seasoned fries!
