Such a cute and inclusive space! A fun selection of drinks to choose from whether you’re GF or not ?
BEST GF BEER…… EVER! Deja puts so much love into everything she creates and you can taste it! The space is vibrant and inviting to all!
Hands down fantastic beer, cute and friendly environment. A must-try for anyone gluten-free. Absolutely blessed to have this amazing local business. Highly recommend as a date spot or gathering place.
Terrible service here. Rude owner who is apparently too busy to sell drinks for money. I thought that's what a place that sold drinks was for. Apparently not. If you want to order a drink, make sure the owner isn't planning on doing anything else (in my case she really needed me to order so she could go out front and clip the bushes??) otherwise you are made to feel like you are wasting her time. I have no idea why someone who has no interest in selling drinks to customers would want to open a business that sells drinks? Here is a hint for the owner, when a customer comes into your shop remember that there are hundreds of other places they could go and perhaps it's a good idea to sort of just be baseline kind to people who want to give you money for the thing you are selling. A quick smile and a "how can I help?" goes a long way. I can't imagine this place will stay in business very long.
Well it was Saturday evening and the door was wide open, but @#$& me because CANT YOU READ SIGNS? WE'RE CLOSED. Such a rude person, didn't even get in the door.
Incomparably great. Mutantis is by far our favorite of any beer, let alone gluten free varieties. They have the basic types of any brewery: pale ales, lagers, IPAs, but also some really unique types that you won't find at other breweries. Support this amazing place!
I love this place! Deja is an amazing bartender, and the selection of crafted beers is top notch. And don’t forget to check out the gluten free food truck! Their corndogs are to die for! Highly recommend that you check out this local queer owned business!
Delicious drinks and amazing vibes! I had such a fun time hanging out here.
After being diagnosed with celiac, I MISSED BEER! Once I had their sour dark cherry pie beer, I knew there was hope that I could again have the experimental beers and joy I once knew. There are a few other gf breweries in the PNW (which I will always be thankful for), but Mutantis is my favorite. They aren't afraid to bust out a new recipe, so give them a try! Their beer is amazing, it tastes like beer, and even if you aren't celiac, it's a brewery and what is Portland if not a community that loves its beer?
Not in the area? That's okay! John's Marketplace has a GF section and the more people buy it, the more they'll see a demand for it.
Amazing beer. Just wished we lived in Portland so we could go weekly.

Awesome gf beer so good everyone should try it
This was one of our stops to try a few new beer places for our anniversary. We each tried a different beer and we were happy to see Honey Butter Country Faire there for a quick tasty snack. We found the beer pretty comparable to Bierly Brewing (also gluten free) Both breweries seem to have a little less carbonation than a traditional beer, not my husband of my preference but they were still good beers.
Wonder selection of gluten free bear and cider. Love the atmosphere all around great place!!!
Discovered this place while on Spring Break. It was the BEST PART of my vacation.
As a Celiac I basically never get to drink beers on tap, Mutantis changed that for me. EVERY SINGLE THING on tap was safe for me. ALL of the food options were safe for me (Funnel cake! I had never one time gotten to have a funne cake before in my life!!!). I felt like weeping. I have never felt so normal while eating out. It just doesn't happen in most parts of the country where I can go in and order anything on the menu. I could weep just thinking about it.
Side bonus, while chatting with the owner I realized they were the maker of the recipe for my favorite homebrew. I had no idea. It was a startling, and random discovery. I am still shaking my head at what a small world we live in.
Hands down this is a must. Go try something delicious and enjoy the funky vibe.
Vegan and Gluten Free libations that will keep you coming back to try the whole menu. Queer beers indeed!
