Great place for drinks! A chill, homey feel with a fun twist.
Muu-Muu’s has a very “Portland” feel - from the eclectic, original Portland street lamp lights to the paintings on the walls and the decor. Love the food and the drinks - I’ve been here several times and have been satisfied each time by the food quality, price, and variety. Service here is also excellent! In a city with a large number of amazing restaurants to try - this is one worth visiting multiple times.
Good variety of small plates. Hard to choose. The chicken kabob with rice and peanut sauce and Brussels sprouts perfect
The best Shrimp po boy my girlfriend has ever had. My niece had the Pad Thai and her girlfriend had coconut curry I believe. Both enjoyed their food. I don't recall what I had, but I remember it was good. Lol. Great service. I would encourage others to go there.
Good drinks. Good food. Good service. Good ambiance. I recommend the Muu-Muu burger — has the fries *in* the bun.
Good cultural variety of foods and great bar vibes. Unfortunately for us we had to wait about 15 minutes before being served in any way at all. Understandable as it was chockers in there! Signs of a good eatery.
I've been here many times over the years and if I could use one word to describe Muu-Muu's, it's: consistency. The weekday bartender is all over it, taking care of the bar and all his tables - and giving attentive service all around. The food is solid, and their happy hour menu slays. They have veg/vegan options, but nothing extensive or wildly original. Good location. All around, a great place to stop in for a bite and a beverage.
I don't HATE Muu Muu's! Whatever gave you that idea? I LOVE Muu Muu's: we've been going there for 20 year and counting.... we order their daily meal specials several days a week. Tonight's was Jambalaya and added potstickers. Both extremely tasty and done with unique flair. Their Monday Spaghetti and meatballs are heavenly and we have them every single Monday The meatloaf(Wednesdays) is the best I've ever eaten. Served with scalloped potatoes and Baby green peas. Both mouthwateringly good and also a regular weekly rite. It's also my go to bar for meeting up with friends. Almost always Muu Muu's is the place I get together with old friends from out of town, or friends from Portland I haven't seen for awhile. It's relaxed and comfortable: the staff? most of whom gave worked there for years are friendly efficient and hyst lovely people. They also have a first class sound system good lighting and very comfy boothsqss. It's my local pub and favorite watering hole.
Muu-Muus was our unofficial destination for new years eve. The staff were amazing, the food was delicious, and the drinks were reasonably priced. Cannot recommend enough!
Had be never been to Muu-Muu's until I met friend there. At first I thought it was dive-y but soon realized that it felt comfortable, like a pair of favorite slippers. They had a good variety of options and the service was good. We got our food quickly and it was excellent with perfect portion sizes. Can definitely recommend Muu-Muy's for a casual, not stuffy, brunch.

Love Muu muu’s great food friendly staff
What a fun little spot. Service was outstanding, drinks delightful.
Always a fun, low key favorite of ours! Small Bite menu is great! Pot Stickers, Fish and Chips!
Old school NW Portland spot. I've been going to Muu - Muu's since way back. It always delivers - good food, drink and service priced appropriately. You'll feel like a local, even if you're not.
Service is always hit or miss. I went to brunch recently alone and had a server look at me, start to grab menus, then put them back and help his friends that had walked in(who sat across the aisle from me). Finally a lady helped me though that wasn't a great experience either. Bartenders are usually on point though, so definitely suggest sitting at the bar if possible. Overall they seem to prefer their locals and not new people. Hours can vary too unexpectedly- went on Halloween and they were open until midnight. My friends were inside but I barely missed the cutoff by a few minutes. It was very odd.
