Offensive to call this Indian food. Worst naan I’ve ever had. A waste of money.

I ordered masala aloo gobi. Not only the quantity but also the taste was pathetic. It had too much oil that it gave stomachache. The potatoes weren't even cooked well. The pieces were too big too.

This is the worst garlic naan I have eaten and I've had a lot! The butter chicken was fine, but the naan - no thank you!

I've seen this restaurant through many seasons, well over 15 years. While several questionable experiences over these years lead to long breaks, last week I can say I'm finally ready to hang up the proverbial tongs.

Yes, it's a buffet, so food quality is always a gamble. Freshness and palatability will vary based on demand, timing, and it turns out attentiveness from the kitchen. It's the last part that I find absolutely unacceptable.

While eating a pakora from the buffet, I discovered a five inch length of cotton string, fully battered and embedded in the piece I was eating. I thought maybe it was some stringy vegetable that made it through prep – but no such luck. It was actual twine, the kind used to tie up chicken, or...?

Needless to say, I utterly lost my appetite and ended my meal. I relayed this to the cashier and showed them the inedible and inexplicable non-food item served on the buffet. I had to explain several times for them to take interest.

But the most disturbing part was he couldn't explain where it came from. He vaguely apologized and then handed the length of string to another kitchen staff who was equally bewildered. No explanation. So what else is randomly falling into the fryer?

Worse still, no remedy was offered. I was charged the full amount, and it became clear to me that this was not a one-off experience but a policy to resist addressing food quality complaints.

Yet this goes far beyond that and was clearly a food safety issue. They're lucky I caught the string before attempting to eat it (or maybe I, and others that day, did actually ingest smaller fragments). But even if I had the more horrific version of events – would I still been charged for the gauntlet of “is this actually food hiding on my plate?”

I've enjoyed this restaurant at times. I'm just not enough of a masochist to ever determine the answer to that question. I hope neither are you.

I ordered the Chicken Briyani and I’ve never seen food this sad. The rice was mushy, no flavors. Honestly it’s an insult to chicken Briyani. It’s made with no care for a customer. It’s behind me how they are confident enough to sell this food. Look at attached picture for more.

I’m usually careful about leaving negative reviews, especially when it comes to food, since personal taste varies. But I felt the need to share my experience here. I ordered through Uber Eats, so I can’t comment on customer service, but the food itself was very disappointing.

The curries were bland and watery. The roti and naan tasted old and burnt. The only thing with any flavor was the chicken samosas, and even those were oddly seasoned. I wouldn’t call myself an expert in Indian cuisine, but I’ve had enough experience with it to know this was far from good.

Unfortunately, I relied on Uber Eats ratings without checking Google reviews first, and I regret it. Even with a promo that included some free items, it felt like a waste of money. I ended up throwing most of it away. I would honestly prefer a microwaved Tasty Bite meal over ordering from this place again.

I recently placed a Uber order which included buy 1 get a free item deal. They didn't honor the free item. Order with caution.

The food was not enjoyable. Very little flavor and was cold when I received it. Definitely won't be a place I order from again and fortunately it was the only time I ordered. Just not my style or taste.

Mannnn listen I'm from Brooklyn so that automatically makes me a foodie I'm also a trucker and I know where all the good food is all over this country and Canada so hear me when I say this Indian restaurant hands down is one of the best If not the best Indian food I've tasted. It's an Indian buffet The food is great and very affordable you will not go wrong eating here. The owner is a wonderful person polite and kind I saw him feed a homeless man who walked in off the street. Overall great place to eat.
