This place is FIRE, solid hefty vegan meals
Sadly, came to enjoy and they were closed on midday 4pm on a Thursday. Hopefully they fix this so that people like us don't feel bothered that we drove 15 min to eat vegan food and they're closed. But it's in a cool food truck lot.
This food court a food carts is delightful! I ordered the Broadway bowl and it was absolutely delicious! I'll be back!

One of my favorite places to go in town! I usually get the Mississippi bowl, it has a great balance of freshness and savoriness. Also has big portion sizes for the price which is always a plus. Definitely stop by!

As a carnivore, I am amused by how much I love this place. It was my favorite food cart in Portland when I moved years ago, and it still is!! :)

Delicious vegetarian food! And friendly. I got the chik’n salad, which was very yummy and nice & spicy with the siracha lime buffalo sauce.
However the portion was huge — it was as if I filled an entire mixing bowl with food — so I wish they would offer a half portion, or tell people the dish could serve two people or one very hungry person, because I had to toss about half or 2/3 out which hurt my soul haha. Not sure if all the dishes are as hefty as the chik’n salad. But regardless, would recommend!
Hearty bowls coming in a variety of flavours.

Portlanders seem to enjoy this place, but it’s not for us.
The large portions of food are a burden because we don’t like wasting food.
The Burnside and Hollywood bowls have a sour and bitter flavor profile. The teriyaki sauce for the soy curls is bitter. The overcooked and mushy rice doesn’t taste like jasmine. It’s just plain long grain.
The pricing on the website is outdated. We planned to spend $20 but ended up spending $30. We would have gone somewhere else.

This is the oldest and best cart food that I know of in PDX. If I was stuck on a desert island with one cart food option it would be Native Bowl, hands down.

I love the misconception that Vegans don’t enjoy food like everyone else. In reality, wonderful food carts such as Native Bowl completely breaks barriers with their delicious hearty portions that anyone should be thrilled to try. I promise there is more to eating guilt-free than celery sticks. Particularly - wholesome meals like this.

Native Bowl is a must-visit food cart! The food is absolutely amazing, with high-quality vegan options and plenty of gluten-free choices to cater to everyone. I've tried most of their bowls and can confidently say you can't go wrong with any of them. Each bowl is packed with delicious flavors and topped with their signature yummy sauces that really set them apart. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone craving tasty, plant-based meals!
