Best chicken tikka masala ever. So addicting! I like that they have a lunch combo plate and you can try multiple things. Good portions! Dwaraka is good too and has a similar taste but New taste is my favorite. All the other Indian restaurants I've tried in Portland aren't nearly as good. I just wish you could dine in for dinner.

Perfect Indian takeout! Food was fantastic and served piping hot so it won't get cold on the way home. Great prices!

This is my go-to stop for lunch during the week because the deal is too good. You get three pieces of naan, rice, and three hot choices from their lunch buffet and it comes in at about $15 with tip. The amount of food you get is totally worth it. I always eat half and then save the other half for lunch the next day. Great deal! Their dinner ordering is also incredible and the portions are excellent. The staff is incredible as well! Tita is so friendly, remembers my name, and always has a huge smile on her face! I absolutely love this place and hype it up to all of my coworkers and neighbors in the area.

Consistently delicious Indian food! Some of my favorite dishes are the saag paneer, tikka masala, and the bhindi masala, but I've never had a dish from New Taste that I haven't enjoyed! I particularly appreciate that the food is not spicy and the service is quick.

Woman worked by herself 3/15/24. She was backed up with orders and I’m not sure if the patrons noticed. I ordered the chicken tikamasia and potato naan and the food was amazing!I was only able to tip 15% but the woman deserves a lot more tips for trying to keep up with the orders working by herself. Will be back to visit againKid-friendliness: Security do a good job keeping away trouble, kid friendly and watch out if you have dog allergies. People bring their dogsWheelchair accessibility: The food pod entrances are wheelchair friendly but ordering at the pods directly you may need some assistance

I've never had bland Indian food until eating at this restaurant. There was very little flavor in 3 different dishes I had. My son actually said it was bland before I said anything.

First thing: i have a severe peanut/treenut allergy so i very rarely get to go to indian restaurants, however this place doesnt use any peanuts/treenuts at all! very tasty and really inclusive/accommodating for a variety of dietary restrictions. the staff is super friendly too! i'll definitely be going back. i highly recommend the lunch menu, it's served in a style similar to chipotle where there's dishes prepared and you get to choose up to three as well as a side of rice and naan included. great if you're not super familiar with indian food like myself.

I used to eat here all the time several years ago, recently food has been really unfortunately bland. Not just spice but flavor in general quite disappointing.

I visited for midweek lunch. The lunch service is hot plate deli style, pre-made, served into a tin divided tray as the customer chooses from the available selections. The presentation is reminiscent of elementary cafeteria style. The staff that dished up the selected food was friendly and helpful. The restaurant furniture was basic and clean. The wall decor was haphazard, poorly hung, and thrift store/calendar page like. Looks like a 10 year old did the wall decor. The place would look better without the distracting bad wall decor.I am not sure what the "New" is regarding the restaurant's name. Nothing was new or innovative regarding this restaurant. It is quite basic. The price seemed $2 more than what I'd expect to pay for this style of lunch. The restaurant was mostly empty during my late lunch visit. The food tasted OK.This would not be my first choice, but I'd eat here again.Vegetarian options: Ingredients were not listed.Parking: The parking lot is long and narrow. Navigate it with care.

In-door dining room is only open during lunch. So if you want dinner, you must take it away, or sit on a few bare tables outside. I can’t comment on the food, but did look for this information on their website before coming (based on another review). Please update your
