This is for the Valentine’s Day event. It was all very underwhelming for how much we paid. We had never been here before and I always wanted to go, I thought going on Valentine’s Day would get us the best food choices.
It was a 3 course meal and the savory dishes (beef carpaccio and duck confit) were pretty salty. The duck was cooked nicely though. The crepe dessert was nothing great, I didn’t want to finish it.
Our cocktails were 5/10. My shaken not stirred just tasted like watered down gin.
The service was okay. I can only imagine how stressful an event like this was, but when the server seems like she’s annoyed/upset, the energy kind of rubs off. I didn’t want to bring up any of our honest opinions because it felt like she was having a rough day. I didn’t want to make it worse or have an argument over it. We had asked for some butter with our baguette (one of us is dairy free so we got olive oil served as well). When it didn’t come out with the bread at first, we asked if we could also get butter, and it didn’t come until we asked again with the bread now cold and harder.
Altogether, it didn’t feel worth it for a 110 per person meal not including drinks and tip. Wanted to like it.

We received with the cold shoulder, expected for a place like this. Judge by your appearance.
The food was decent but nothing spectacular.

Wonderful ambience and a nice lil' happy hour menu, including oysters (limit one dozen per person) 5-6pm; when we arrived as a party of 6 at 5pm on a Wednesday, it was completely empty, but got busier by the time we left at 7.

We were quite pleased with the experience at Normandie. The quality of the food was fantastic and overall is was a very pleasant dinner. We will return!
Really lovely ambiance and food. Great for a date night or getting together with friends. All the seafood was fresh and presented well.
After all these years still never disappoints:) Amazing food, chill but upscale ambience, and the absolute sweetest owners who look after every detail with love!! You feel like you found the city's best kept secret.
This is our second year in a row to have a meal here on Xmas Eve. Great experience both times!
Great dining experience overall. We ordered the Normandie board, crab beignets, steak frites, duck confit, brioche burger, fries and baguette. For dessert we had the madeleines and chocolate mousse. It was plenty of food for a party of 5 that included 2 children. Everything was delicious. My kids loved the food as well. I rarely order burgers at restaurants but theirs was amazing. Service was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it.
Our server was excellent! Everything came out @ just the right time and had excellent flavor, especially the octopus!!!!! We had both cocktails and wine & the selection/variety were delicious. We had a semi private booth which made visiting and catching up with old friends just perfect! Only drawback is portions are small. Thank you for a lovely dinner out!
Prices are EXORBITANT for the absolutely tiny portions, even the main dishes but especially the small plates. Between 2 people, we ordered one main, 2 small plates, and 6 oysters, plus one drink each—the bill was upwards of $150 and we left still starving. The food was okay but not excellent, and certainly didn't warrant the incredibly high price point.

I went to Normandie for the first time last night. I went for the octopus and it did not disappoint. Everything was tender, perfectly seasoned and on point. The restaurant was not busy when I arrived (early in the evening) but was very busy by the time I left, and my service remained top notch. Will absolutely go back.
Exquisite food and preparation. (I hate to say this) But, I am a talented chef, and this place is spot on.
Came in for happy hour with a friend and ordered 5 small dishes. They brought them out in an order that really enhanced the wonderful flavors. Such a great deal for such incredible food.

Came here with a buddy after being turned away at another place for not having reservations. Sure glad we did! We were greeted and seated pretty much right away. In fact, they let us sit in what could be considered a VIP area. The table was big enough to accommodate other guests who were waiting for a table in the main dining area. It worked out great! But what about the food and drinks? Top notch! We ordered several drinks and quite a few shareables off the menu. Everything was amazing. Will be returning with my wife as I want her to experience the food, atmosphere, and wonderful staff.

Will definitely be back. Menu is relatively small but it's much more about the ambiance and the pairing of food and wine. Food was amazing! And so was the service. It's a great place to meet up with a friend for a glass of wine and maybe a charcuterie board, but also good for a casual and quiet date night.
