It's my local spot to go hide away from Burnside and have a drink. Can get pretty busy but with the back area I never feel cramped at all. Haven't been there in awhile, might have to go back soon!

I have been to North 45 ten or so times but I just don't see myself going there anymore. I really want to like it and keep trying, but it's just not happening.
The indoor space is nice and they have a fun patio and nice beer list, but in my experience the food is hit and miss, both in quality and whether they even have what's on the menu. Additionally, they are very often VERY understaffed.
In our last visit, they were out of the first main dish choice for three out of the four people in our party...at 4:30 on a weekend afternoon! I really feel for the servers here as they are trying hard, but they are not being set up for success. I would expect a restaurant that is part of a decent size group to be better run than North 45 seems to be.

Great menu and atmosphere. The back patio is spacious and a perfect hangout spot day or night. Will definitely be back!

Carter was such an amazing server. He was fast, efficient, and so friendly. He stopped during his busy shift to have a meaningful conversation. Hope you all get Carter as a server.

It is really expensive for, what's available incredibly close. I tried it a few times, the prices made it not fun. However if you are looking for a place that's always empty for a clandestine meet up, this is the place.

Popped in for a pre-St Paddy’s day pint
The food came out and looked amazing but unfortunately we had dinner before we came. I had the Moscow Mule,, they actually purée the ginger. I ordered a late night Spanish coffee so both cocktails were some of the best we’ve ever had. My hubby had a black and tan and tried both of mine. We definitely both agree is one of the best places to come for good cocktails, good food and staff. We are both raised in PDX & we’ve been just about everywhere; we would 100% recommend it. We had the bartender name Natasha,
Thanks!

Some of the best drinks on that street. The food menu is also great, and their back patio area is awesome (and heated in the winter).

A true pub in the middle of a city. The beer was good and the food was tasty. The wait staff is friendly and full of good advice both about the beer and the food. There's a bier garten in a tent out back but we chose to sit inside the cozy pub. Stop in for a pint if you're walking by. You won't regret it!

Excellent apple pie dumplings for dumpling week! My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed them and look forward to having them again during future dumpling weeks.

I had a great experience with service and food. Burguer (n45) was delicious and side salada was good. The beer was also tasteful and intense (red). I highly recommend this place. The service was perfect and the waitress so sweet and customer oriented. Such a good surprise this place!
