6+ yrs of coming here. It still has great drinks and atmosphere, but I will say drinks are getting a bit spendy. Regardless of the price this is my spot.

Hosted a WNBA draft watch party here and got the back table! Great service and where else do you go to get a Guinness?! Appreciate the friendly staff and the owner cares deeply about his guests and staff. Highly recommend for a good time!

This is one of our standbys in the beautiful alphabet district in Portland. The food and the drinks are always on point, and it’s always an excellent experience. Whether we are sitting at the bar watching soccer, or on the back patio access in the back bar, we are always well taken care of. It’s one of our family favorite spots to meet!

This is a great spot with an amazing patio bar. The food is made fresh and the wait staff are fantastic.
The only recommendation is to turn the sound on when there is a Blazer or Timbers game on.

I'm sitting at the bar and the owner (? Manager) sitting with friends all dropping f-bombs and other foul language in obnoxiously loud voices, oblivious to other customers looking in disdain and rolling eyes. I don't even think he noticed these customers leaving with disgusted look. Ash, working the bar, was awesome and attentive to the patrons. As always, food was good. If I return, it'll be a while and with trepidation.

Come here for a Timbers game, sit in the back patio. Or have a nice date night inside. Enjoy a great food selection with a cocktail, local draft beer, or pound a few cans of cheap beer. There's something for everyone here. Great vibes to make you feel like you're at a neighborhood spot, whether you live nearby or in the burbs.
The only reason I’d give service a 2 star is because every server in the building was always busy doing something or talking amongst each other, having us awkwardly wait for any new order /: Especially turned off when another server came up asking if we needed anything; mid order another patron caught her attention and then she completely redirected to them, took their order and just left us there looking like dummy’s. I was embarrassed.
I ordered the Lemon Buerre mussels and the sauce was just as Yummy as a French Restaurant we like to frequent down the street. Our main waitress at the bar with curly hair made great drinks and my husband was excited to find a beer we’d have back in France.

It's my local spot to go hide away from Burnside and have a drink. Can get pretty busy but with the back area I never feel cramped at all. Haven't been there in awhile, might have to go back soon!

I have been to North 45 ten or so times but I just don't see myself going there anymore. I really want to like it and keep trying, but it's just not happening.
The indoor space is nice and they have a fun patio and nice beer list, but in my experience the food is hit and miss, both in quality and whether they even have what's on the menu. Additionally, they are very often VERY understaffed.
In our last visit, they were out of the first main dish choice for three out of the four people in our party...at 4:30 on a weekend afternoon! I really feel for the servers here as they are trying hard, but they are not being set up for success. I would expect a restaurant that is part of a decent size group to be better run than North 45 seems to be.
