Hands down the best restaurant in Portland. The server I've seen each time I've been here is so kind to our toddler and us. The food has never disappointed, the flavors are so well blended and the portions are large! So many gluten free options too. I honestly don't know why this place isn't packed every night.

4.5 stars. I'm not sure how I haven't been here in so long. I went here all the time when I lived in Woodstock. It was the one place open on holidays, and many times I didn't want to cook. I went back for the first time recently, and remembered how good it is. The salad wasn't super practical to eat, but it was yummy. The jap chae is really good. The crab rangoons are a must. I honestly recommend anything. The passionfruit iced tea is also amazing. You won't see it on the normal menu, so ask for it!

This place runs like a well oiled machine. The service is stellar and atmosphere excellent with great ambiance. Food was amazing, I could pull the short ribs off the bone with chopsticks! And the flavor, perfect. Highly recommend.

I got the chicken wings and they were tough and spicy. I was expecting spicy but the meat was tough and bland with chewy skin with spices on some of it. The pad Thai was sloppy with chewy bits of something mixed it with the noodles. The Rangoons were okay. The takeout we got was overall not very good for the price I paid. I will not be going there again. Oh and the floors in the dining area had holes all over like the floor wasn’t installed correctly. This place exudes a feel of poor quality. Unfortunately it showed up in my food order too.

Note, this is NOT a review of the food as we didn't get to try any.I do not take writing negative reviews lightly, you can view my history to see this - but I had the most awkward experience last night.I was meeting a friend, and went in to wait for her as she was running late. This was at 7:30pm (the site says they close at 9pm). They gave a table and settings for two. She was 10 minutes late. After I was there for 5 min the server came over (after standing there staring at me behind the counter) and demanded to know if I knew what we're going to order. This was strange because it's customary to wait for the other party before ordering the meal, so this seemed very rude. I said she should be here shortly. *Then* he informed that they were closing the kitchen at 8pm.I hate being those people that order a ton of food when folks are trying to close up (been in the service industry myself) so I said no problem, I'll just get us tea to share, which he brought over.My friend arrived and I told her they were closing soon, so we were going to head somewhere else after tea.Now multiple people were showing up within 2 or 3 min of 8pm.I don't know if A. the new arrivals were NOT told that they were closing, or B. they were told but just didn't care, but they ended up ordering, getting meals while we sat there hungry.(The server came over to my friend at one point and I *think* was trying to tell us it was ok to order after all? He spoke very softly and it was starting to get loud in there) but he was so rude previously when I sat down I said no thank you.Being treated differently than other customers is really an uncomfortable experience and you can't help but wonder why.TL;DrIt's cool if you need to close early, but please tell people right when they first come in, especially if they are waiting for another party. At least post something on your front door.

The service was great ! The food was amazing. The place is small, private, and cozy. I loved everything we tried, The Galbu Jjim 10/10. The Pad Thai 10/10. Chicken noodle soup 9/10. The Crab Rangoons were pretty good, and so were the chocolate ribs. The main dishes were the star of the show. Needless to say, I highly recommend this spot.

First time there the server was kind of weird I ordered a cocktail he said oh we don't have that and then I ordered my food and it was the wide pad noodles and if I couldn't finish it I only ate a little bit and the appetizer was not good I will never go back there again it was a very weird

Eating at Nudi was incredible! The food is delicious (I recommend the kimchi udon), and it's obvious the staff cares about their service and taking care of you. The atmosphere is inviting and unique, and they really work to make you feel welcome. Also, the drinks are fun and original! Make sure to try a special when you go, and if you're lucky they'll have mango with sticky rice: served warm and fresh, it is delicate and filling and I think of it constantly in my free time ?. Nudi is a MUST try if you're in Portland!

The food was well prepared but a bit too rich for our taste. It felt like they were trying to do too much with the dishes with just too many ingredients and flavors. The decor was a a little strange too. The server was very nice though.
