This is literally the first review I’ve ever done. It was my wife’s birthday and we reserved a table for dinner for three. We were greeted and sat with adequate service. We had our drink and appetizer orders taken by a pleasant fellow and pooooof he disappeared. Without any explanation a new gal comes up and coldly asks, “are you ready to order yet?” Confused where our initial server had gone we said, “thanks, but not just yet” she didn’t even have a thoughtful response. “ ok I’ll be back” Still wondering where our respectful waiter went, the customer service challenged gal came back to take our order. We ordered something that they were out of, she said it was her favorite, and we should cry because we couldn’t have it…..whhhhat?!!
Shouldn’t specials and what is not available be disclosed at the beginning at a fine establishment like this? My wife’s birthday… they never asked why we reserved a special table.

This place was magnificent! We picked 8 things off the small plates menu and everything was fantastic. The staff were friendly and recommended great dishes! Will definitely be coming back.

If you want an amazing, unique Mexican cuisine experience, this is the spot! Their menu is carefully crafted and absolutely delicious and authentic. The chef really knows what he is doing. The cocktails are all absolutely incredible, but I always have to get the El Espadin. Definitely save room for dessert because it is always on point, and pair a nice dessert cocktail with it. I definitely recommend getting a reservation because the wait times can be long if you do not. Been here a few times and cannot wait to come back.

The food was outstanding, with interesting and unusual options (in the best way). The service was top-notch and the prices were very reasonable. However, the place is very noisy; we had a lot of trouble hearing each other. If I lived near here I would be a regular.

Devine tacos in a cozy place. I had the carne asada tacos which had just the right amount of heat to them. Would also recommend the queso dip and chips. Great selection of margaritas!

The food was INCREDIBLE! It was also very filling! 2 small tacos and one appetizer enchilada had me full! The cocktails are also amazing, I got the ginger and tequila one. The only small complaint I have is I had to flag down our waitress anytime I needed something and that includes wanting to order salsas and my entree. I also sympathize because they weren’t overly busy but they had a good amount of people in there, so I’m sure she had a full section. I also really enjoyed the overall ambiance of this place. I definitely recommend visiting!

Good food. Just the place to go if you want to enjoy a great relatively inexpensive meal with friends and family.

The drinks, Cadillac Margarita and another with Pineapple puree with a lime and Chile rim, was great. The Carne Asada was not good. The meat was quite tough. The Asparagus as an appetizer was terrific.

They try too hard to be fancy, but wind up with dishes that are just, well, weirdly off. They were willing to attempt alterations, but mostly couldn't. Service was slow & not terribly friendly. A very promising appetizer of white shrimp ended up way too charred and short of rubbery behind the burnt parts.

We had an amazing experience at Nuestro Cocina! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. It’s a very kid-friendly spot, and the service was absolutely phenomenal—attentive, warm, and super accommodating.
They don’t take reservations, but I actually appreciated that. We arrived a little early, and they had a smooth system in place to get us seated as soon as a table was available. It gave the whole experience a relaxed, local vibe.
The food? Phenomenal. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the chips and salsa were some of the best I’ve ever had. They also have an incredible variety of cocktails featuring mezcal and tequila. I was especially impressed by their tequila selection—top-notch!
I’ll definitely be back. Whether it’s for a casual night out or a special meal with family, Nuestro Cocina hits all the right notes. Highly recommend!
