The reviews weren't wrong! Wonderful pastries and excellent coffee. A small, cozy, spot with a very upscale vibe. Enjoyed an almond croissant, and a lemon scone. Both were very good, and the coffees were spot on! Very impressive, staff were friendly and quick also!

I was looking forward to good coffee during my weekend in Portland. I haven't had a GOOD coffee since our trip to Italy 3 years ago. Nuvrei was so good, I actually teared up. This is what I've been missing. The croissants were excellent as well, but the cappuccino... I will be dreaming of that cappuccino for years to come.

Nuvrei in Portland is recommended for anyone who loves pastries and good coffee. The display cases are overflowing with freshly baked croissants, tarts, and inventive treats—everything we tried was delicious and beautifully crafted. Their coffee is equally impressive as well.
