The bartender was very helpful, attentive and personable. The tap and bottle selection was very good for style variety and brewery selection.

Tons of beers on tap and the a bunch of tv's? Uh, yes please. Awesome place, food is above average, but beer selection is excellent. Worth going to for your next game day!

One of our favorite hang outs. Lots of beers to choose from and the staff are all friendly and helpful. They don't serve food but there are a handful of great restaurants in the area that they let you eat on-site while enjoying your drinks!

Excellent place if you appreciate good craft beer that won't break the bank. The workers are very knowledgeable and a big perk is the Saturday night guy is gorgeous! haha The customers are always fun and friendly the place is very clean.. you can bring your dog and even have dog treats It would be difficult not to have a good time here. If I had to say one negative thing it would be that the location is a bit trite. Going to a tap room in a strip mall is a downer.. from the outside it kind of feels like you're entering a nail salon or a yogurt shop. However once inside you'll taste some fantastic beer and have some laughs with other local booze hounds.

Covid killed my old favorite bar, and Growlers filled the gap seamlessly! I'm not a beer drinker, but they always have several cider and seltzer options to choose from.Very pet friendly, and the people are great too. There's a great community of regulars that are so welcoming and fun, and the bartenders are knowledgeable and attentive.

Apparently, being gay is still dangerous even in our friendly Portland neighborhood of John's Landing. My partner and I recently experienced ridicule, harassment and deliberate destruction of my business property while on a pressure washing job for the Macadam Market. NW Growler brew pub is a tenant there. Some Growler customers were staring us down and flipping us off as we washed a nearby restaurant patio. While I stepped away from the site, one of them threatened my partner; "If you don't shut this down, I'll shut it down for you!" They said they'd turn the water off. We moved our machine to the back of the property to work there. A bit later, as I went to get gas, the Growler customers called out "FAG" in my direction. This kind of harassment continued, egged on by Timothy, the manager. They shot out condemnations and laughter as they pointed at my partner and I. When confronted with their behavior, they denied it all, proclaiming they liked my truck and were simply directing me to wash out cobwebs on the building. About 10 minutes after speaking to the Growler customers, my machine suddenly ran out of water. The pump seized up. It was fried. A brand new $1000 machine purchased the day before to do this job was destroyed because one of the Growler customers turned off the water main. On camera, there is video evidence of Timothy, the manager pointing out the water main's location to one of his customers. Also recorded is the customer turning off the water. As I tried to figure out what was going on with my new equipment, the group of Growler customers and manager were laughing and pointing at me. Seemed pretty obvious at that point what had happened. Witnesses from other businesses and the video recordings confirmed my suspicions. To follow up, I left multiple messages for NW Growler's owner, Johnny M with no response. People kept telling me he'd make it right. However after three weeks of radio silence, I went in to speak with Johnny, who laughed in my face and basically called me a liar. He said his customers would never act in such an atrocious way. When I let him know it was all on camera he refused to view it. Johnny just asked me to leave. I am out of a $1000 machine as well as 4 days worth of work for myself and my partner. However the greatest cost is to my sense of pride and security in my own neighborhood. This is 2021. This is Portland. And this is the reality.
