Everything at Olia is prepared to order. It’s always fresh, always delicious, healthier than many other options; and, even when they are in the weeds with orders, they always provide service with a smile.
Yesterday, during one of my frequent visits I personally witnessed a displeased customer become extremely rude and argumentative — rude enough for me (someone with years of experience in the food service industry waiting tables and bartending) to comment on.

I was the guy in the blue shirt behind you. Aside from your desire to drink hot boba in August, I — along with the crew at Olia — wish you well. I hope you were just having a bad day. I patiently watched as you belittled the owner on the finer points of hot boba tea, plastic vs paper cups and not being able to use the boba straw (that you took with you anyway…?). I’m also sorry you spilled your “overly milky” match latte. She really did you a favor trying to dissuade your personal choice to use plastic cups (intended for cold drinks) for hot beverages — girl, we ALL know that’s not good for you.
Lessons for Hannah: - We could all use more kindness in the world. - Immediately cease with hot liquids in plastic cups. - You don’t have to be rude. - Someone is always watching you. - I recommend the Taro flavor (iced of course), the first sip bursts with creamy rich Taro flavor and the gentle texture of warm boba. My sister is newly addicted and we get one together at any opportunity.

Hot matcha latte with boba took 10 minutes to make, with a faulty lid that leaked and was extremely milky. They also didn’t have the correct heatproof packaging for hot bubble tea so I had to pour this into a mug and spoon out the boba separately.

The spam musubi and bbq pork bhan mi were delicious. The space is light and airy with beautiful indoor plants. They were busy at lunch time so I recommend ordering ahead or be patient if ordering in person, it's worth the wait. I look forward to going back.

This place is amazing. They were so super friendly, and knowledgeable about allergies and substitutions. Me and my boyfriend both have allergies. They were able to tell us which items were gluten free and onion free, and gave us an extra sauce with our shrimp rolls so we could both try them.
Everything was so fresh and so delicious. And it doesn't break the back! We will definitely be coming back here.

I had a poke bowl, it was build your own style like at a Subway or a Chipotle. Wonderful concept. I also had a avocado smoothie. I was worried it would taste gross or be too sweet, but it was a perfect balance. As for atmosphere, it's well lit and everything but the MVP is the incredible display of living plants. They all look so healthy and like they've been in the same place and well maintained for a long time. I have so much respect for whoever is nurturing them!

This place was interesting, to say the least… First time coming here. The workers here are so sweet, props to them! The owner guy turned his back on me while I waited to order and kind of just walked around back and forth while the kids making the food were hustling pretty hard…. I got a bowl and a musubi and both tasted pretty good. Hopefully, the next time I come back, the employees won’t have to work as hard.

Best poke i’ve had in portland and I’ve shopped around a few. Food is always fresh and super flavorful. Sauces are delicious. Definitely my fixation meal - never get tired of it.
All the food we ordered was very fresh, taste great, and were made quite quickly ☺️💗 the only thing I would want to change is the portions for the poke bowls: I wish they were a bit bigger. Besides that, taste great! Place is clean and nicely decorated, there are bathrooms available if you need.

Utterly disappointed in the quality of food and service for the price. It was my first (and only) time trying this place, and it seemed like I knew the menu better than the server. I ordered salmon with spicy ohana sauce, and there was hardly any flavor. Easily a dish I make at home for a fraction of the price. Dine-in is served on paper plates with disposable utensils btw. At least there was plenty of empty seats to choose from.
