Bakery was beautiful inside. Lots of gorgeous pastries. We ordered a milk & white chocolate brown butter cookie, a buckwheat ganache brownie, a sticky bun, and a raspberry custard tart. Cookie was good, and the brownie was good but a little bit of a dirt-like taste to it. We didn’t love the sticky bun. The raspberry custard tart was incredible.
Getting a pastry from Orange & Blossom is a real treat. From their morning buns, to their cakes, to their cookies….everything is so frickin’ delicious. Do yourself a favor, and treat yourself to the best pastries in town! Updated from previous review on 2025-07-06
Even better than Land and Monkeys!
After visiting countless vegan bakeries across many US cities and countries, Orange & Blossom Patisserie in Portland truly takes the cake 😉. It’s not surprising that it was named the best vegan bakery in the US! The pastries are not only impeccably crafted but also elegantly beautiful, each one a work of art that tastes as incredible as it looks. The orange cardamom bun was incredible; fragrant, tender, and perfectly balanced. The space is beautiful and charming, and the fact that it's dog-friendly only adds to its appeal. The prices are a bit on the higher end but it’s so worth it.
I didn't realize this was a vegan+gluten free bakery when I went in. The pastries looked good, so I got a pistachio olive oil cake and strawberry tea cake. They both tasted like they were vegan+GF; dense, a little dry, a little grainy, not terrible but not what I wanted.
If you need vegan+GF pastries, you could certainly do worse. However, I am accustomed to pastries with dairy, eggs, & wheat gluten and did not care for these.
Super cute plant based cafe with nice ambiance and decorations. Staff were very friendly and nice, too!
When everyone agrees it’s the best vegan spot you need to try it. Vegan or not go get these you will be so happy you did . I have never had a better pastry in my life ! The sweetness was spot on the flavors and variety make it a place where everyone will find a favorite.I absolutely Love this bakery! Don’t miss out thinking about it put it into google maps and go !!!
Blossom brew is an ice coffee with vanilla and orange syrup and tasted so floral and yummy. Also had some cake slices which were also so yummy especially the pistachio one.
My dream patisserie 😌 Everything we tried was pure perfection 👌 Updated from previous review on 2025-06-09
The cookie was really only very mediocre. And so expensive for what it is.

Whoever came up with the dill pickle biscuit deserves the Nobel.
Cute coffee shop, bakery. Selection of vegan desserts and sandwiches along with coffee. We enjoyed the Miso cookie and white chocolate macadamia. YUM. Perfect desert.
This is the most decadent vegan bakery I've ever been to. The staff are super friendly, and the mismatched china is charming. We ordered Strawberry Maripozzi for breakfast, then loaded up a to go order to take on the plane home. This included chocolate truffles, chocolate chip cookies, a savory cardamom pastry, and a savory snap pea pastry. Everything was delicious, but the coconut chantilly cream in the strawberry maripozzi is out of this world! This is not to be missed. Be sure to arrive early. By closing time they sell out of almost everything.
The brown sugar miso cookie was absolutely delicious, and served on an adorable plate. There were many appealing options (even in the afternoon close to closing), and I look forward to trying more from here. Lovely staff!
I arrived around 2pm on a sunny Saturday, most of the pastries were bought up by then. I did manage to order a zucchini cake with this butter frosting and some french bun with a cream and rhubarb jam. They were absolutely DEVINE. I've been allergic to dairy my whole life and these are top 5 best desserts I've had. Please come to Seattle! I'll be back again and I'll be sure to be early next time :)
