the entire experience at Oven and Shaker was mediocre. . . the pizza menu options seem really good with lots of variety, but the actual pizza didn't seem to deliver beyond the ingredients. the dough didn't quite have the right chew & snap and with too much topping, lending a bite too weighty & wet. the appetizers didn't fair much better with the prawns and arancini, the former sitting in too much sauce and the latter, the size of golf balls and arriving deflated as if they had been made--and cooked--earlier...and was that pizza sauce? the space--with the bar stretching the restaurant length--was created for youthful drinking crowd and the hip-hop soundtrack didn't deliver the right mood for our party of 5 trying to enjoy an early dinner on a Saturday evening

Amazing! From being greeted happily and warmly by the staff to the absolutely delicious pizzas, we were MORE than satisfied. 11/10!!

Service was very bad. We kept having to get up and ask for things while the staff were all on their phones, hanging out with each other, dancing in the kitchen...I'm all about having fun at work but unfortunately it was affecting their ability to do a good job!

Great for a date night or a small celebration. It really feels like a New York City nice restaurant without the price. Upscale but not stuffy. The prawns, olives, and arancini starters were excellent. The cocktails are some of the best in Portland.

Far cry from a artisan pizzeria. The fried mozzarella seamed like it was frozen and bought from Costco then over cooked. The fig and pig pizza lack luster at best. Very disappointed in the dinner.

One of my favorite restaurants in the Pearl. Love love LOVE the Nostrana salad with the sage-rosemary croutons, we get it every time. Spicy salami pizza and fennel diavolo never disappoint. Also, one of my favorite bar programs in the city. Service is always stellar!

Service was very nice, we felt welcome. Roasted chickpeas and drinks were delicious. Kale salad was boring. Goat cheese pizza had a nice flavor, but there were hardly any artichokes or red onions on it. We were a bit disappointed in our choice.

Airport Location Review:
I ordered a mimosa and was not only immediately questioned about my age, but they served it in a lemon drop martini glass—so much for presentation. Then I tried to order food at what was advertised as a “pizza” place. I asked for pizza, only to be told they don’t serve it until 10 AM, but I could get breakfast instead. So, I ordered breakfast potatoes (as listed on the menu), and they told me they only had tater tots?? I never closed a tab so fast. Also, those “$6 mimosas” they advertise? They’re actually $9.50.

Pizza was ok. Appetizer was not too good. Service sucked in all ways. Walk ins are ok but you better reserve to be treated better

Bland, soggy, burnt pizza. Really disappointing especially for the price. The La Futtuna was actually disgusting. Oil soaked bread with what seemed like a pound of cheese on it, no thank you.

The service is always outstanding at Oven and Shaker. Our pizza was a bit soggy and cold, which was very disappointing. The arugula and pecorino salad had very little cheese on it, but the dressing was really good. We had a homemade ginger ale that was terrific. Only one IPA on draft, Pfreim - which is dependably good.

On the pricey side for Pizza, but it is delicious.

The breakfast was far from anything worth $25.00. Tater tots for hasbrowns. 1 sl8ce of dry toast cut in half. A small suasage patty and rude service. Do not go there.

Good baked olives and Margherita

Our food was good. Service not so much. The appetizer and pizza came out at the same time. Our server never came back to check if we needed anything until we were done with our food. Our first time in was much better than this experience. It wasn't that busy, just poor customer service. Lesson learned.
