The wood fire pizza was delicious- charred with a flavorful sauce. My family tried five different cocktails and every single one was a unique and masterful concoction. Highly recommended!Vegetarian options: They were really accommodating to all dietary requests, and many options are on their menu for vegetarians.

One of the best pizzas I've had. It's also very well priced for happy hour too if you can make it. The drinks were also on point. You can taste the alcohol and the other ingredients enhance the taste, vs just getting no alcohol and just mixer.The staff were also super nice and friendly. We had to bring our duffle bags in and they helped us get a spot in the corner to put our bags down.The space is nice and rustic.Definitely recommend and will revisit next time I'm in the area.Great spot overall!

Love Oven & Shaker, one of my favorite restaurants in the Pearl District near my apartment. We usually get the fried chickpeas to enjoy with our cocktails, then one of the excellent salads and the spicy salami pizza to share. At last night's visit, I was chagrined to see that the Lambrusco has been removed from the menu, permanently according to our server. That's too bad; Lambrusco is the ultimate pizza wine and enjoying a glass with our pizza is one of life's simple pleasures
Two of the three orders were very good except the pizza Margherita was quite soggy with the marinara sources. We mentioned to the server and she told us the pizza got soggy because we didn't eat them right away. I think that's a bit defensive cause we had the same pizza elsewhere and it should never be soggy period. I always enjoy the various pizzas the restaurant has to offer in the past but this time is a disappointment.
I used to come here a fair amount as it was convenient and the pizza was good. But the pizza I had during my recent visit is going to keep me away for good. How can you serve a customer a burnt pizza? The top of the pizza had blistering on it (which is normal) but they were black and burnt. The bottom of the pizza was burnt to the point that it was bitter. Someone needs to either show or tell the pizzaiolo that you dont send out a burnt pizza, let alone have a server serve it. Granted the poor lighting I am sure didnt contribute any to the decision making. You eat with your eyes first and seeing this pizza come out and just looking it did not make it appealing. And a note to the person making the pizza dough, make sure you have salt in the dough, because it sure tasted like they forgot to add salt in the dough. Ever eat cardboard?
