Got two pounds of Dungeness crab on Thursday (Out of season) for an appetizer for a party that was just shot glasses with cocktail sauce in the bottom and crab on top. It was SO FRESH. I’m picky and bratty and it was the best money we spent on that dinner party.

Frozen 1 pound razor clam was $29.00 at Pacific Fish & Oyster, exact same product at OM Seafood was $22.00

They may not have all sorts of fish species as an Asian fish market might but what they have is mostly quality fish—cod, salmon, steelhead, trout, rock cod, clams muscles and of course oysters. The people behind the counter are authentic and helpful. It’s my favorite fish place although sometimes if i don’t use what I buy the same day then freshness might not be there the following day.

If you want good seafood this is the place in Portland. I have purchased the Steelhead often at Costco but it's very inferior to the quality here. I've actually stopped buying Steelhead anywhere else because it's always "fishy". The service at Pacific Seafood is terrific as well. Always happy to help. They have your best interest in mind.

Fantastic seafood and good prices! We got a couple pounds of mussels, a ribeye and a half dozen oysters. They were all delicious! The mussels weren’t fishy at all. We made the best meal.
I have been here a few times now and will continue to go. Don't let their buildings exterior fool you, this place is a real oyster of portland. Their product is always fresh and you will always be met with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Was a regular weekly customer for over 20 years then moved away from the city. A must stop when visiting to take fresh goods home in my cooler. Wonderful and knowledgeable staff!

The service is very friendly, but 2 of the 3 times I have been in, the product I bought was not very fresh. I got some good mahi once, but when I bought a bag of frozen raw shrimp a year or so ago, some of them were partway pink, making me think they hadn't been stored properly frozen, if it had some warm spots. And tonight, I bought scallops for Valentine's Day dinner... My portion tasted so strongly of ammonia that I had to throw them out. (Written in February, posted in April.)

Always a great experience very friendly quick service any crab is great I go there for a cocktail crab maybe once a month and they take the Oregon Trail card.
