I've been here a few times. Always great cocktails on the menu. Service this most recent time was efficient but not at all friendly or sociable. I like a bar with friendly bartenders.
Morganthaler never disappoints. Whether it's the greatest eggnog you can make with his recipe at home, or an amazing amoretto sour at his own bar. You can always count on a well crafted cocktail at Pacific Standard. A house party vibe on weekend nights and lunchy vibe in the early afternoon. A can't miss location for your Portland trip, or a regular spot to meet fun people. Thank you for your great service as always.
The original drinks are really well balanced and interesting. My general position of choice is the bar, which on a busy night can be difficult to find a spot with limited stools but the group seating all around is incredibly cozy, especially near the bookcases.
