Paddy's features a very nice ambiance and a huge selection of alcohol, making it a great local spot. The Ruben pillow dumplings with puff pastry were enjoyed by some. The Irish coffee was described as delicious, and many found the drinks to be great. While the service is generally polite, one recent visit noted that the bartender was managing multiple tasks, which affected the experience. The shepherd pie was disappointing, being extra salty and preheated in the microwave. Although the food menu is limited, the quality of healthy food is surprisingly good for an airport restaurant. The location is convenient, especially for events like the Portland Marathon, and it’s a perfect place to catch a Notre Dame football game on a Saturday afternoon.
